2. SCENE 1-OPENING OF VIDEO
The video will start off by adding a fancy title page. I will do this by using
the program Affereffect as this program is used for making motion
graphics and I would need it for my title page in order to make it more
appealing. I think first impression of the video is always very important,
therefore, I need to attract the audience as soon as they watch it.
It will say a catchy slogan

3. SCENE 2-FRONT ENTRANCE
It will start the scene by filming one student with their uniform or casual as
they enter the school. I think this will give a better start as an
introduction. The reason why I am allowing someone to wear casual is
because our sixth former are allowed to not wear uniform and as they
are part of the school, it shouldn't’ be a MUST of a uniform needed from
the person.
I will be using IMovie for the rest of the video as this program is used for
video editing.

4. SCENE 3-SHOW CHARITY WORK
I will be filming a student put up a poster around school so that I can show
that our school cares about the people outside school and we connect
with charity groups to help less fortunate people. I can film charitable
choice as this organization si what our school is working with right
now.

5. SCENE 4-FILM THE LIBRARY
As the library is where students study, I want to film the library so that I can
show that everyone may not be all smart, but we all work hard on our
examinations and homework.

6. SCENE 5-CLASSROOMS
I will be filming the classroom as year 6 parents would want to know the
mood of the classes. I will make sure that the class is lively with very
enthusiastic students wanting to know more each day.

7. SCENE 6-PHOTOS OF YEAR 7 EVENTS
Instead of just showing clips of video, I think it would be interesting to add
a few photos (not too little, but not too much) where I can show the
interesting advents that is set up for students in year 7 as they come to
join us in Island School.
The choices of photos I could use:
• Junior Prom
• Year 7 Camp

8. SCENE 7-CREATIVITY
In order to show that our school always helps us with increasing our
creativity, I will film the art department and the drama department.

9. SCENE 8-PHYSICAL EDUCATION
To show that the school care about the students help, I will be filming
students in their physical education class. Moreover, I could film
students playing basketball as it is the most popular sport played in our
school with many talented, fit athletes.
Voice over:
The physical education teaches all students at least once a
week in order to keep our body fit and healthy and relieve
our stress on examinations and homework.

10. SCENE 9-BREAKS/LUNCHTIMES
I will be filming year 7students having fun with six formers so that I can
show that our students get along with everyone from all ages. The older
students always make an effort to get to know the younger students and
always takes care of them.
Music-should change to a calmer music as it is the last scene and the
music has to fade out well.

I think if I write ‘thank you for watching”, it would lack of professionalism
and may look very tacky for a school promotional video. I will end my
video with the address to our school so that it really stands out and the
audience can know where it is if they are interested.
