Almost all pirate crews followed a universal code known as the pirate's code. This code was used like the Ten Commandments but for pirates. The
pirate's code decided what happened to traitors and thieves along with what happened to men that brought women aboard the ship. The pirate's

Pirated movies have grown over the last couple of years. You can see someone on any given weekend when you walk through the grocery store trying
to sale you a movie. Piracy is defined by Dictionary.com as, "the unauthorized reproduction or use of a copyrighted book, recording, television
program, patented invention, trademarked product, etc." Therefore, a pirated movie is when a movie is released without the owner or person that got
the material copy righted it knowing or consenting to the release. Movie piracy is unethical because it skews the box office financial numbers,
decreases the chance for sequels, and hurts the theaters, even though it does provide a means for people that are less likely to go to the theaters. The
movie box office ranks movies by how much it grosses in the theater over the span of time that it is in theaters. The span of time can be by day,
month, or year. However, we must first understand that when you watch, receive, or supply a pirated movie there is no money made by the production
company. For instance, the movie may have been seen by five thousand people but if two thousand people view pirated copies then the number reported
will be the profit brought in by the three thousand people. When you look at the numbers three thousand may seem large but when you think about a

1. I strongly believe that piracy should be legal. To begin with, the overseeing of private distribution is regulated without set standards and guidelines,

Blackbeard Piracy Facts
Edward Teach, known by the nickname Blackbeard, was born in England, Bristol, 1680. Bourgoin (Blackbeard). During his time, an age more
formally known as the"Golden age of Piracy" was in place; this was a time when piracy was abundant in the waters of the Caribbean and North
America. Pirates during this time were legally allowed to steal a certain group of ships, namely Spanish ships (Woodward). These type of pirates were

These interactions show that piracy was more than criminal activity, it was a business. John Appleby extensively covers the relationships between
