people to accomplish goals and objectives using available resources efficiently and effectively.
Management is concerned with human beings whose behavioris highly unpredictable. Ever since people
began forming groups to achieve goal, they could not achieve as individuals. Managing has been

Answer:The variousstagesinthe processof planningare as follows:
1. Goal setting: Plans are the means to achieve certain ends or objec-tives. Therefore, establishment of
organizational or overall objectives is the first step in planning. Setting objectives is the most crucial part
of planning.The organizational objectivesshouldbe setinkeyareasof operations.
They should be verifiable i.e., they should as far as possible be specified in clear and measurable terms.
