ISDB-T is a digital terrestrial broadcasting standard used in Japan and other countries that provides benefits beyond just digitalization. It allows for high quality pictures, spectrum efficiency, integrated services like data broadcasting, emergency warning systems, and mobile broadcasting. Mobile broadcasting through One-Seg allows TV viewing on phones and tablets, proposing new viewing styles. During disasters, One-Seg continues to provide information even when power is out. ISDB-T forms an international community where member countries exchange experiences implementing the standard.
