► Aeronautical mobile satellite service (AMSS)
– In Europe, ECC Report 066 on protection of aircraft from satellite
earth stations operating on the ground in vicinity of airfields is
being reviewed
– The intention of the review is to facilitate AMSS use on the ground
at airports

► Earth stations in motion (ESIM)
– WRC-15 approved ESIM operation in 19.7-20.2 GHz and 29.5-
30 GHz band
– WRC-15 approved studies for WRC-19 to consider ESIM
operation in 17.7-19.7 GHz and 27-29 GHz band
– The intention is to facilitate ESIM operations
