Release Notes of 8.7.1 version
General :
1) To install the lock files,go to the folder 'Security Manager',
and run drvinstall.exe & Install_Drv.exe.

Preprocessor.
-------------
1) STB load generation for Line load on slab corrected.
2) Wind load used to get generated from footing level.
Now wind load application level is added, so that user can give the
floor level above which wind load will be generated.
3) Retriving file from back up file. Utility given in STRUDS.
4) In Create nodal load, by default the cursor will be at fz
and not at fx.
5) Elements with Memeber release,if deleted,were causing corruption of
the bld file.This problem is removed now.
6) Options of defining trapezoidal load ,flexural moments,torsional moments
on elements,removed temporarily.
7) Member releases are now copied to new floor in floor copy option.
8) Multiple slab edit option : Input dialog will now appear after
selecting multiple slabs and not after selection of single slab.
9) Bak file corruption problem solved.

R.C.C. Design

Beam design :
-------------
1) New load combinations created by the user were not being saved
previously. These load combinations are being saved now,
and will be available to user in the saved design file.
2) In beam design,there is an option of providing ductile detailing
as per IS13920.If earthquake load is not present in a building,
this option will not be used in the detailing, even if the option for
detailing as per IS 13920 is selected.
3) Beam analysis problem in individual design module,solved.
4) Some modifications done in Beam detail design report.
5) Beam numbering and beam group numbering will be similar now.
Numbering will be done from bottom to top ,horizonatally.

Column design :

1) Due to columns in tension, error in schedule reports removed.
2) Column Self wt. added in design of column in plane grid.
3) Dynamic reports added for column design. Now user can select the
columns of report which he wants to be reflected in the generation of
report.
Menu option for this report :
Report->HTML Reports->Column Details
User can select the options to be displayed in the report.
4) Centre line : Proper display of values in printing.
5) In column design,option of 'Min. steel pt. as per reqd area' was not
working,this problem is solved now.
6) In column design,there is an option of providing ductile detailing
as per IS13920.If earthquake load is not present in a building,
this option will not be used in the detailing, even if the option for
detailing as per IS 13920 is selected.
7) 'View design' option - If column design fails at any level,

user can now view the design of column at other levels.

Footing design :
----------------
1) Dynamic reports added for footing design. Now user can select the
columns of report which he wants to be reflected in the generation of
report.
Menu option for this report :
Report->HTML Reports->Detail Report
User can select the options to be displayed in the report.
2) If user does not go to foot param dlg 8 mm bar dia was being
selected as default.Now 8 mm diameter will not be selected by default.
3) Centre line : Proper display of values in printing.
4) Combined footing : If earthquake load is present,SBC increment is
displayed in report.

Drafting :
----------
1) For Triangular slabs : Slab detailing is drawn now.
2) For building plan going out of user defined limits (e.g 20x20) ,
drawings generated in drafting were going out of sheet.
This problem is corrected.
