James bond is the main character in this film, he is a good guy trying to
hunt down the villains causing terror and catastrophic damage to society.
The guy who gets shot, we don’t know who he is just by seeing the
opening scene.

Bathroom. The use of black and white enhances the ‘arena’ or ‘battlefield’
where the 2 meet, James bond just edges a win in the gun fight and shoots
his enemy.

The Dark Knight is more doom and gloom, and the terrorist group causes
upset in society. This means batman must hunt them down to keep the
peace in public.
Casino royale is a spy-thriller utilising mystery and clues, to track down the
enemy. Mostly using espionage to begin assaults on potential targets and
leads.
