3. The Bourne Identity
It inspired our idea for a
man that lost his memory
and went in search for
answers
4. Shutter Island
It inspired our idea by of a
detective that didn't know
the whole story whilst
everyone else did-he was
kept in the dark. For
example our double agent
is kept in the dark by his
colleague.
5. Falling Down
This film inspired with its
title sequence with the
sound effects of heavy
breathing and a close up
of his sweating face
6. Taken
It inspired our idea by the
girl that is used for
leverage for information. In
our case the woman
seems like a damsel in
distress when caught in the
crossfire
7. James Bond
It inspired our idea by
using drug
dealers/terrorists as the
villain side but also in
pursuit of answers and
knowledge to the
unknown
8. The Escape Plan
This inspired our idea by
an undercover agent sent
into a group of criminals in
a ploy to find out the
valuable information he
requires to finish the job
9. The plot of 'Double Agent'
An undercover MI6 agent is sent into the middle of a drug dealing group of thugs and is to find the valuable
information that has been rumoured to be in their computer files but is discovered when handing the files over
to his colleague. There's a mole in the MI6 that gives the drug dealer's a head up to Matt's true identity which is
why they find him at rendezvous point. Rendezvous point is at an abandoned warehouse where he is giving
his colleague the information that he discovered on the drug dealers computer files. When he wakes up he
finds his colleague has disappeared so assumes the woman has been kidnapped by the drug dealers that fled.
When Matt thinks more in depth he realises that when the drug dealers appear the woman was acting scared
and vulnerable crouched in the corner but then suddenly disappears mid fight so starts to suspect she has
something to do with the situation he is in. The mole in MI6 turns out to be the woman which is why previously
she gave a vulnerable damsel in distress act so that Matt wouldn't suspect her. He wakes up having flash
backs of what happened but no memory. He chases the drug dealers that fled the scene to try and uncover the
identity of the mole but is being chased as well. His amnesia is his journey to uncovering he truth.
10. Background information for
'Double Agent'
Matt's colleague only gives headquarters the
information that she wants them to have and then
keeps the important stuff to herself. So she wants Matt's
position in the company so her ploy is to set him up as
to appear on the side of the drug dealers which is why
she was so eager for him to take on the mission.
11. Title Sequence
Plot: Is where Matt the double agent wakes up in a warehouse. He has no
memory of why he is there at first - disorientated. Looks at scene around
him and sees a couple of bodies which resurfaces flashback of fight. He
shakes his head as if to rid off the memories or to try and understand
them. He keeps having flashbacks of fight scenes and then his colleague
crouched in the corner. He gets up stumbling-dizzy trying to figure a way
out. He noticed colleague isn't there anymore and looks around as if to
suddenly find her but doesn't. Finds door and opens revealing white light
that takes up whole screen. Then title 'DOUBLE AGENT'
12. Sub genre
Our main sub genre is crime due to the plot of MI6
and information and drug dealers. However, we
incorporated psychological in the title sequence to
engage the audience’s interest in our film.

We have conventional characters: hero/protagonist- matt, heroine/
villain- amber and main antagonists- drug dealers
14. Extra info
Restricted and non linear due to flashbacks
Target audience: men 18-29 years; we are using this audience as
it gives us more of a chance to do an adult plot to the film. We’re
using this audience because after researching what this genre’s
audience is we found that this allows us more of a scope for
things like violence, locations and explicit scenes.
The title sequence gives a psychological approach due to effects
on screen and the way we have planned the basis for the story
The plot is realistic as it could happen in everyday lives
15. Camera angles and shots
we planned
(Extreme) close ups for when Matt starts waking up, sitting - right hand side of him
Extreme long shot of warehouse, establishing shot and Ariel shot - birds eye view
Arc shot - spinning for when Matt wakes up
Medium shot - fight flash backs - can't see person against Matt's face
High angle shot on girl to make her inferior
Low angle shot for the kick
16. Enigma Code
Our enigma code is 'who is the MI6 mole?'
The woman colleague of Matt throws the audience
off her scent by acting vulnerable but it is later
revealed about her manipulation
What is the information?
17. Location
The location for the title
sequence would be an
abandoned location as it
is the rendezvous point.
18. For the real thing
We may use sunglasses, ski masks, and a briefcase in
addition to our current props.
We would start the title sequence’s flashbacks in public
that then moves into an abandoned warehouse.
More focus on him getting to the rendezvous point with
the antagonists following him to make more of a clear
storyline/ narrative.
