from the process of constructing this

2. Technology Overall
• Throughout the construction of this product I have used
several sorts of technology to create a thriller film opening
• Planning process: Wordpress for blogging, generally a
computer.
• Filming and Editing process: A Canon, Sony and Panasonic
video and audio camera with a tripods. I also used an iMac
and an editing software called Final Cut Pro.
• Evaluation process: Wordpress to upload the evaluation
questions, a computer, and other websites/features which
came in handy in the evaluation process for different
questions such as either a: Prezi, PowerPoint's/slideshows.
• Overall I have used a wide range of many different types of
technologies, some being more advanced and others being
commonly used. Throughout the course of creating the
thriller film opening, I learnt many new skills to do with
different aspects of technology. By making use of
technology, I think it has improved my blog and overall the
final product which was our thriller film opening.

3. Wordpress
• During the course I have been using the online website WordPress.com. This was
given to us by our media teacher as this is where I have been able to upload all my
findings, evidence and progress of the planning, filming and editing and evaluation
of the media product that I have created. This website was really effective and
useful as it was easily accessible and easy to use. It also allowed me to keep track
of my work and progress which made my work more organised. I was also able to
do many things such as import files onto blog posts, add images and link videos
etc. The fact of completing my work online has also shown me how much
technology is growing.

4. Computer/iMac/Editing software
• During the course I have made a lot of effective use of the computer for the access
of internet for research and communication. I also used different software's for
different tasks, for example, when I wanted to create a PowerPoint/slideshow type
of format I used Microsoft PowerPoint to perform these tasks. Having the access to
technology has been very useful.
• When editing the footage/thriller film opening I used the iMac with the latest and
professional software applications such as Final Cut Pro. Using Apple products
were effective as they are professional and easy to use and also from the use of a
professional software programme such as Final Cut Pro, we were able to create
and achieve a much better final product.

5. Video Cameras
• When filming we were able to make effective use of video cameras. We made use
of at least two cameras however we recorded most footage of our thriller film
opening on one camera but then we had to acquire other bits of needed footage,
the fact of being able to do this and easily combine the footage in an editing
software made it much easier and efficient.
