Coastal Region: The weather in the coastal region of Peru is sunny and warm. It's
usually dry, but during the winter months (June to September), a cool fog called
the "garúa" covers the coast. Make sure to wear sunscreen and a hat to protect
yourself from the strong sun!
Andean Region: The Andean region of Peru has a cold climate, especially at higher
altitudes. The temperature can be freezing at night, so make sure to bring warm
clothes like jackets, hats, and gloves. The rainy season is from November to April,
so bring a raincoat or umbrella if you're visiting during these months.
Amazon Region: The Amazon region of Peru is hot and humid, with lots of rain
throughout the year. It's important to wear light clothes to stay cool and
comfortable. You need a raincoat or umbrella to stay dry in the frequent rain
showers.
Altiplano Region: The Altiplano region of Peru is a high plateau with a cold and
dry climate. It can get very chilly, especially at night, so make sure to bring warm
clothes like jackets, hats, and gloves. The rainy season is from December to March,
so bring a raincoat or umbrella if you're visiting during these months.
Remember, weather conditions can vary within each region, so it's always a good
idea to check the forecast before you go!
