3. DEFINE WEATHER AND CLIMATE
WEATHER – weather tells the condition of
the air and atmosphere within a particular
area or place in a short term basis.
4. CLIMATE – Describes the average long term
weather patterns and conditions over a
specified time frame for specific area.
5. PHILIPPINE CLIMATE
CLIMATETYPES:
type 1- two pronounced season: dry from
November to April and wet during the rest of the year.
type 2- no dry season with a pronounced rainfall
from November to January.
type 3- seasons are not very pronounced,
relatively dry from November to April and wet during
the rest of the year.
type 4- rainfall is more or less distributed
throughout the year.

In our ,country we have two seasons:
Rainy
Dry
The dry may be subdivided further into;
Cool dry season (Dec- Feb)
Hot dry season (March – May)
