2. Revivalism
Revivalism in architecture is the use of visual styles that
consciously echo the style of a previous architectural era.
primarily classified as Historicist architecture. (Historicism)
Revivalism evokes principles and styles from an earlier
period of architectural history and traditions — of the
same cultural place or from other cultures.
3. Renaissance Architecture
is the European architecture of the period between the
early 14th and early 17th centuries in different regions,
demonstrating a conscious revival and development of
certain elements of ancient Greek and Roman thought
and material culture.
Renaissance means Re-Birth in Italic.

Classical Revival (Neo Classical)
This is architecture that looks back to a Classical past. The roots of Classicism are in
ancient Greek and Roman architecture

buildings rather than later derivatives or Renaissance examples. there was a great
interest in archaeology and antiquarianism

Eclecticism is a 19th and 20th century architectural style in which a
single piece of work incorporates a mixture of elements from
previous historical styles to create something that is new
and original. According to the designer or the clients wishes.
these elements may include structural features, decorative motives,
historical ornament, traditional cultural motifs or styles from other
countries, with the mixture usually chosen based on its suitability to
the project and overall aesthetic value.
