3. I.Drilling buckets
We can produce the variety of drill tools, soil drilling bucket; Rock drilling bucket; Rock core
barrels drilling bucket; mud(Two-petal) drilling bucket; Expanding drill bits. Bottom of drilling
bucket can be with single door or double door. It is used for drilling soil, rock layer, claypan and
sandy gravel.
The bucket and bottom cover is made of high-strength Mn plate, The buckets includes single
bottom type and double bottom type.
Beijing DZ drilling buckets are mainly divided into four types:
1. Soil drilling bucket 2. Rock drilling bucket 3 Rock Core barrel bucket 4. Mud bucket
1) Soil drilling bucket
There are two types for soil drilling bucket:
A Single bottom drilling bucket B: Double bottom drilling bucket

1.- These buckets are suitable for drilling in clay, silt and loose to medium dense sand and gravel.

III Kelly bar
Kelly bar is the key part of a drilling machine, and its quality directly affects the
performance of the whole machine based on the rich manufacturing experience and by
absorbing the advanced technology both at home and abroad, we can produce
first-class kelly bars which can be matched with drilling rigs of Bauer, Sany, soilmec,
MAT, IMT, Casagrande, etc.
The Features of DZ kelly bar are as follows:

11. 1.Adopt the advanced technology of 6-key design in the world and standard modular
design.
2.Equipped with advanced processing facilities, processing technical and
manufacturing equipment . DZ kelly bar enjoys a low weight, high strength, high
straightness of single bar, thinner tube, smaller inter-tube distance and good
resistance.
3.The raw materials are either imported from Germany like the high abrasion
resistance materials, or from Chinese top manufacturer such as the seamless steel tube
with alloy. Material details as below:
First section: 16MN (Q345B)
Second section: 16MN (Q345B)
Third section: 27 SiMn
Forth section: 35 CRMO
There are mainly two types of kelly bars:
1.- Interlocking Kelly Bar 2.-Friction Kelly bar.
1) Interlocking Kelly bar
Interlocking kelly bars are used with piling rigs for drilling in dense sand and gravel
and weak to strong rock. The Interlocking kelly bars can be fully locked by
mechanical locking system on each section. Kelly bars can be equipped with specially
designed springs or pressure plates for shock absorbing purpose.

2) Friction Kelly bar
Friction Kelly bar is another type kelly bar, which the external key is composed of 3
or 6 wear -resistant strip without pressurizing point. This kelly bar can form pressure

14. force when the kelly bar rotary, can produce peripheral force and the rotary passing
down the pressure force, can produce the friction force. This kelly bar has the
advantage of operating sample, drilling deep, but with less pressure transmission. So
this kelly bar is suitable fro the soft and silt layer.
