Netiquette refers to etiquette guidelines for online environments. It is important to have and follow netiquette guidelines to maintain a respectful online space. Without netiquette guidelines, online environments could become disordered and disrespectful as nobody would be behaving appropriately. The document encourages thinking deeply about one's online behavior and whether one will now act more appropriately online by following netiquette guidelines.
