2. Seasons are the result of earths tilted axis. The
seasons change because earths distance around
the sun does change. Seasons change because
when the earth rotates the northern hemisphere
or the southern hemisphere get winter or
summer.
3. The spinning of earth on its axis is called
rotation. And earths rotation causes day and
night. The sun appears on the east and keeps
moving to the west of earth.
4. Revolution is the movement of one object
around another . One revolution of earth
around the sun is called a year.
5. Calendar is the system of organizing time that
defines the beginning length and divisions of a
year. Calendars were used to divide time based
on earths motions and the moons.
6. When the sun appears farthest north at the
equator is known as a solstices
