2. The changing river
There is a river in Canada called the Saint John. It’s a
river that changes its direction. It changes twice a day.
When it has low tide it goes into the Bay of Fundy.
When it has high tides the Bay of Fundy’s tides pushes
it into the river making it turn its direction.
4. How do tides come to be
Tides are made by the force of gravity pulling on the
Moon and Earth together. High tides occur mostly on
the side of the Earth that’s facing the Moon low tides
occur mostly on the opposite side. The Moon gravity
pulls more on the water that’s closer on the Moon then
on the side that isn’t.

6. The Sun’s Part
Even if the Sun is further away from the
Earth then the Moon it still effects the
Earths tides.
7. The different types Moons
New Moon: when the Sun , Moon , and Earth are
almost in line it’s a new Moon. Since there is gravity pulling in
the same direction (the sun and moon are on the same side of the
Earth) and that caused a situation where there are high and low
tides called a Spring tide.
9. First Quarter: when Sun and the Moon are at a
right angle that produces a neap tide. A neap tide occurs twice a
month
Full Moon: a full Moon is when the Sun and Moon
are at opposite sides of the Earth. But that’s also a spring tide
because it doesn’t matter what order the Sun, Moon, and Earth
are in as long as they’re in line it’s a spring tide.
