– Interview to a pupil. The rest of the students
ask questions for extra information and
prepare the book.
5. True name – false job
– Start the game by giving your real name
and a fictitious job, e.g. "My name's
Mary and I'm a nurse". Get the student
sitting next to you to repeat your name
and job and then to say who he is and
what fictitious job he has ("Her name's
Mary and she's a nurse and my name's
Sandra and I'm a teacher").
6. Tv guide
– Use the tv guide to practise prepositions, days
of the week and the time.
7. Answers on the wall
– Students must find answers to a given
questionarie on the wall.
A Fun ID-ea!
– Through their own students’ IDs, they can
get to know their own nationality, physical
features, hobbies, flags…
8. Strike a pose
– In pairs, one pupil describes a picture
and the other one strikes the pose on it.
Where is Teddy?
– Practise the prepositions with a Teddy
Bear. Play Hide and Seek.
9. Patrick’s weekend
– Every Friday a child takes it for the whole
weekend, on Monday the rest of students
will ask questions about the weekend.
Class survey
– Organize class surveys and present the
results in charts, graphics…
10. Information gap
– In pairs children have to talk to each other to
complete their worksheet.
Daily routines
– Practise the daily routines including date,
weather, time, mood…
12. Realia
– Practise the possessives using real objects.
My house rooms
– Children will take turns describing different
features and answering questions about
the house.
13. Running dictation
– Two teams with a similar text. The group has to
dictate it to their representant, who runs to write
it on the board.
14. Mini books
– Prepare hand-made books to reinforce
the structures and vocabulary.
Twenty questions
– Students have to guess the person,
object, animal… by asking twenty yes/no
questions.
15. Ticket inspector
– The tickets cost an animal, toy… the students have
to draw. Inspect the tickets asking information about
them. Staple the tickets.
