protection, make-up, perfumes and hair care.
• In 1909, Eugene Schueller developed a hair dye formula.
• On 31st July 1919, Schueller registered his company.
• In 1950, the teams were 100 strong, the number reached 1000
by 1984 and is nearly 2000 today.
• L’Oreal has six worldwide research and development centers.
• On 17 March 2006, L’Oreal purchased cosmetics company “ Body
shop euro 562.
• In November 2012, L’Oreal inaugurated the largest factory in the
Jababeka Industrial Park, Indonesia with total investment of USD
$ 100 million.
• In 2014, L’Oreal purchased major Chinese beauty brand($840),
NYX Cosmetics and Brazilian hair care company
