This document outlines a research plan about rapper Eminem's early life, music career, and impact on the rap genre in 5 chapters. Chapter 1 will cover Eminem's biography and background using online sources. Chapter 2 will discuss his career development from freestyle rapper to respected artist. Chapter 3 will examine how Eminem helped make rap more inclusive. Chapter 4 will explore his discovery and influences. Chapter 5 will conclude by summarizing the presentation. Deadlines for each chapter are provided from October 20-31, 2012.

1. Intro
 In the intro I will Justify why I’ve chosen Eminem aka Marshall Mathers and what I will be
researching about him and his career, I will complete this by 22nd October 2012.
Chapter 1.
 I will research about his early life basically a biography of him and his career, as well as how
he was one of the first white rappers and changed the ray rap music and culture was
presented I will also look into where and when he was born as well as his family and school
life and about him in general. I will find out this information using videos from
www.youtube.com information from www.google.com . I will complete this by 20th October
2012
Chapter 2
 I will look into Eminem’s music career in full detail from the beginning starting from when he
was a freestyle rapper and show clips of him when he first rapped and was kicked of stage I
will then go into explain how he Wanted to quit but changed his mind and is now one of the
most respected rappers of our time. I will complete this by 24th October 2012.
Chapter 3
 I will look at how Eminem has changed the way the rap genre worked and how he made it
possible for white people to be accepted into the rap side of the music industry.
 I will read through parts of Eminem’s autobiography to find out facts about his career and
life. I will have completed this by 27th October 2012.
Chapter 4
 I will talk about how Eminem was discovered and signed and accepted into the music
industry
 I would like to talk about his musical influences and what inspired him to do what he does.
I will complete this by 29th October 2012.
Chapter 5
 In my conclusion I will some up everything I have spoke about through my presentation
bringing everything to a conclusion. I will finish my conclusion by 31st October 2012
