Introduction- Itanagar
Named after the Ita fort made up of bricks, 14- fortress of bricks.
On 20 February 1987, Arunachal Pradesh became a full state. The North-
East Frontier Agency was known until 1972. (NEFA). On 20 January
1972, it gained the status of Union Territory and was renamed Arunachal
Pradesh. The Legislative Assembly, which was elected on 15 August
1975, took office on the first Council of Ministers. In February 1978, the
Assembly's first general election took place. The State has divided into
seventeen districts. Itanagar is the state capital of the district of Papum
Para. Itanagar was the sage Parashuram who blasphemed his sin, sage
Vyasa meditated, king Bismaka established his kingdom, and Lord
Krishna married his Rukmini consort. In different places in Arunachal
Pradesh the dispersed archaeological remains testify to their rich cultural
heritage. Legend has it that Kalika Purana, as well as Ramayana and
Mahabharata, were mentioned in the epics of the city. In the 11th
century, the Dynasty of Jiti ruled here, it was called Mayapur.

Kiwis were first imported from New Zealand, Italy, and
Chile, and were never thought to be an exotic fruit. It was
only after it was realized how important it was that it was
introduced to the market. Ziro is a village in Arunachal
Pradesh's mountains. Here, too, the same wild fruit grew.
Due to a lack of information and understanding. These
fruits either rotted or were eaten by cattle. With her farm,
the creator witnessed this. She then decided to transform
it into wine. Today, visitors can tour the winery, meet the
creator, and sample the wine.

Aptanai Culture: The Apatanis, one of
the main ethnic groups in the eastern
Himalayas, have developed a distinct
society based on organized land-use
activities and a wealth of traditional
ecological knowledge of natural
resource management and
conservation, which they have
acquired through centuries of informal
experimentation. The tribe is known
for its colorful culture of festivals,
intricate craftsmanship, cane and
bamboo skills, and vibrant traditional
village councils called bulyan. This
has made Ziro Valley a good example
of a living cultural landscape in which
man and the environment have
harmoniously coexisted in a state of
interdependence, even through
changing times.
The tribe is renowned for its vibrant
traditional village councils known as
bulyan, as well as its colourful culture,
which includes festivals, intricate
handloom designs, cane and bamboo
crafts, and vibrant traditional village
councils. This has made Ziro Valley a
good example of a living cultural
landscape where man and nature
have coexisted in a state of
interdependence during changing
times, with traditional traditions and
philosophical belief systems fostering
such coexistence.
The valley is known for its judicious
use of limited land space. The valley's
relatively flat land is used for wet-rice
cultivation, as well as fish rearing.
This systematic land-use pattern
ensures a high degree of biodiversity
in the region as well as effective
watershed management, ensuring
perennial streams flow into the valley
to meet the needs of the people.

The Subansiri River, a tributary of the Mighty Brahmaputra that flows through Raga Circle of the District, gave the district its name. The
district was a part of Assam's North Lakhimpur District until 1914. The area covered by this District was designated as part of the
Lakhimpur Frontier Tract of the "North East Frontier Tract" by a Government of India Notification issued in 1914. The Lakhimpur Frontier
Tract, along with the Western zone, was renamed the " Balipara Frontier Tract" in March 1919 by another public Notification.
The district area is known as the "Subansiri area" was carved out of the Balipara Frontier Tract in 1946, with its headquarters in North
Lakhimpur. Subansiri Area was renamed the "Subansiri Frontier Division" in 1954, and its headquarters were moved to Ziro later that year.
The District was under the Ministry of External Affairs as part of NEFA, and the in-charge was a political officer.
On September 1, 1965, the Ministry of Home Affairs took over administrative control of NEFA from the Ministry of External Affairs, and
the Subansiri Frontier Division was renamed Subansiri District, with the political officer renamed Deputy Commissioner, Extra Political
Officer as Extra Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Political Officer(I) as Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Political Officer(II) as Assistant
Commissioner, and Assistant Political Officer(III) as Assistant Commissioner.
On May 13, 1980, Subansiri District was divided into Lower and Upper Subansiri Districts, with Upper Subansiri District covering the area
of the then Deporijo Sub- Division and Lower Subansiri District covering the rest of the erstwhile Subansiri District. Lower Subansiri
District divided on September 22, 1992, and Papumpare District created. Kurung Kumay District was further bifurcated on April 16, 2001,
with areas occupied by the Koloriang Sub-division & a part of the Ziro (Sadar) Sub-division becoming a separate District.
On October 1, 2017, a new Kamle district was created, with three administration circles from the Lower Subansiri District and three from
the Upper Subansiri District. Lower Subansiri circles to be cut out are Raga, Dolungmukh, and Kumpurijio.

Introduction –Daporjio (History)
Daporjio was designated
as the circle's headquarters
in 1953. In 1957, the
Circle was elevated to a
sub-division, and in 1959,
it was merged with more
land on the northeast side
of the river Subansiri.
One Additional Political
Officer was in charge of
the sub-division. In 1964,
the role of Additional
Political Officer was
renamed Add. Deputy
Commissioner.
Upper Subansiri was the
name given to the district
when it was formed in
1980.
The terrain is rugged and
challenging in this district.
The river Subansiri has
cut through the landscape.
At the north, snow-caved
mountains with heights
ranging from 7000 to
18000 feet (above sea
level) act as a barrier.
The majority of the land is
uninhabitable. The upper,
upper middle, middle, and
lower regions,
respectively, are largely
covered by dense forest
consisting of Aplne, moist
temperature tropical pine,
and temperate we
evergreen forests. The
district has a diverse range
of flora and fauna.

Introduction –Daporjio (Culture)
Oct &Nov | From Ziro 166.5 km
Daporjio is a small hill village in
Arunachal Pradesh's Subansiri district,
located in the upper area.
Tall bamboo trees, pastoral paddy fields,
and sandy beaches are all part of the
area's natural beauty.
Daporjio is stunning, with virgin
scenery all around to enthrall visitors.
It is an adventurer's paradise where they
can meet their adrenaline cravings. A cave
exploration to Meghna Cave Temple is
possible.
Daporjio is also an empyrean for
anthropologists due to the presence of the
local Tagin Tribe. The best time to go
culture-hopping is during the Si Donyi
Festival, which takes place in January. One
of the native tribe's most significant
festivals.
Worship of the Sun and Earth as
primary deities, animal sacrifices, and
celestial singing are examples of rituals.
It holds tourists in awe as they explore
India's strange tribal cultures.
Bamboo shoots are consumed in the
state. It's the star of all the side dishes,
whether they're fresh greens, meats,
pickles, or chutneys. Daporjio is known
for its abundance of fish, so trying
Ngatok, an authentic fish curry, is a
must-do while in town. Apong, a light,
homebrewed beer, is a must-try.

Introduction-Aalo(Along)
Galo Tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, India
The Galo tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, which lives in
the state's middle eastern region, is one of the state's
most populous tribes. Despite their poor road
conditions, Aalo and Basar, the two major district
headquarters in this part of Arunachal Pradesh, are
excellent starting points for exploring the
surrounding Galo villages.
The majority of Galo villages are well-kept and
organized. On either side of the main street, there
are rows of thatched houses on stilts. The space
underneath these houses was once used to store
firewood and house livestock, but to improve
sanitation, the animals were moved to separate
shelters in the backyard. Engineered granaries,
which are very effective at keeping rodents away,
can also be used.
Introduction-Aalo(Along)
Customary laws that are
equal, forward-thinking,
and inspiring - All the Galo
tribe's practices and rituals
represent a strong sense of
community and family. The
last syllable of the father's
name is the starting point for
every child's name. Respect
and honor are shown to
children, women, and the
elderly.
It is illegal to marry a
minor. Women have
full ownership of their
family's jewelry and
are entitled to a
reasonable share of the
assets. Caring for
elderly parents is not
only encouraged, but
also mandated by laws
that place limitations
on those who do not
inherit.
The Galo tribe is also
one of the most
disciplined of
Arunachal Pradesh's
tribes. Bogum boka, a
series of laws
conceived and drafted
by village elders,
governs their everyday
lives. In certain ways,
these laws are
inclusive, and they
apply to all, regardless
of age, gender, or
social status.
Jhum cultivation is
ecologically sound,
according to the
Galos.- The Galos are
a jhum-cultivating
agrarian society.
Burning specific land
areas to remove weeds
and planting for 2-3
years. Allow 10-12
years for it to be
followed. The soil
replenishes its nutrient
content during this
period. This practice
takes place on private
land. The village
council approves this,
and it is not based on
forest cover.
Also untouched are
large trees and
medicinal plants. The
Landowners'
household must keep a
close eye on the fire as
it burns. To keep the
fire from spreading
further. This is a
superior method of
farming for the tribes.
What is the reason for
this? Since the carbon
in the ashes neutralizes
soil acidity, fertilizers
are no longer needed.
Pesticides will be
avoided if the lunar
calendar is followed.
They plan sowing and
harvesting based on
this. All the villagers
work together to build
a new farm plot.
Whether it's a new
piece of land or a
ready-to-farm field.
They are a friendly
tribe with a distinct
culture. They'll give
you an authentic,
WOW look at Indian
tribal culture. The
Mopin Festival, held in
April, is the best time
to see and appreciate
their culture.

Introduction- Pasighat
History
Residents of Pasighat take part in a variety
of festivals. Solung, Aran, and Etor are all
important festivals.
According to legend, Adi's main festival,
Solung, began when the Goddess of Riches,
Kiine-Naane, requested that they conduct
this worship or puja.’
The Adis celebrate Solung for five days in
September.
The Solung Gidi Dogin, or first day, is spent
preparing for the event. Animals are
slaughtered on the second day, Doreph
Long.
Binnyat Binam, or the third day, is a day of
prayer.
Taktor of Ekoph is the fourth day, and it is
on this day that arms and ammunition are
made. Miri, the fifth day, is a farewell day.
Solung, Solung Abangs lyrics depict the
lives of humans, animals, plants, and other
creatures. Ponung and Taapu war dances are
also popular among the Adi people.
The West Siang and East Siang districts of Arunachal
Pradesh were combined to form the Siang district, which
consists of 32 Rumgong-Kaying and 35 Boleng-Pangin
constituencies.
On November 27, 2015, the district was opened. The
district takes its name from the mighty Brahmaputra
River, also known as the Siang River in Arunachal
Pradesh.
Siang District is almost in the centre of Arunachal
Pradesh's Siang belt. Pangin is 80 kilometers from
Pasighat, 30 kilometers from Along, and 22 kilometers
from Boleng.
On March 21, 2013, the Government of Arunachal
Pradesh approved the establishment of Siang district.
The new district was formed to bring the administration
closer to the general public. Pangin is the district's
administrative centre.

SWOT
Strengths
• Scope of development and planning to make it well-known in a
controlled manner.
• Luscious forests, picturesque landscapes, rivers and lakes, deep
valleys, green velvet of agriculture and forest land, mighty rivers,
wildlife sanctuaries, a wide variety of flora and fauna(525 species of
orchids). Rare cats only found in the state: Tiger, Leopard, Clouded
leopard, and Snow Leopard.
• The majority of the industries are related to handicrafts, handlooms,
arts, weaving cane & bamboo, wood carving ornaments, horticulture,
cultural heritage, heritage monuments, etc. The tribal population is
warm and friendly.
• It is also called the Power House of the North for the production of
hydropower.
• Key strengths highlighted include a peaceful climate, abundant natural
resources such as fresh water, land availability, strategic location as a
gateway to ASEAN countries, enhanced connectivity in the foothills,
availability of Hindi and English-speaking young people with strong
technical backgrounds, state and federal government incentives, and
2/3/2021
Weaknesses’
• Infrastructure limitations and political
concerns (connectivity and accessibility).
• The number of roads that are in use is small,
and the majority of them are either under
construction or will be built in the near future.
Furthermore, building roads above 2000
meters is difficult.
• Several formalities, such as obtaining permits
to join the state, must be completed.
• Brand promotion is highly limited both
domestically and globally.
2/3/2021
Opportunities
• Farm tourism and fish farming concepts could be promoted.
• For example, the (Siang)Yomgo River event is an example of
adventure tourism.
• Trekking, mountaineering, wind surfing, sailing, paragliding,
zorbing, water skiing, as well as other water sports have a great
deal of potential to develop.
• Pangsau Pass Winter Festival, for example, is a process of social
tourism.
• The nation has a vibrant cultural heritage, and also some culinary
delights, fairs, and festivities.
• Positioning tourism development as a national activity and
sustaining it.
• Creating a long-term marketing strategy and programmes.
2/3/2021
Threats
Carrying Power Constraint
Excessive tourism has the potential to severely
damage the environment and threaten indigenous
societies.
Here, there is indeed a lack of oversight, safety, and
infrastructure.
Long-distance travel with weak road transportation,
dreadful road conditions, and inadequate facilities.
[poor infrastructure and amenities.]
Other tourist destinations compete with yours.
There is a requirement for schooling.
2/3/2021
2/3/2021
PE ST
Political
 A border conflict exists between China and
India.
 The National Highway System must be
enforced and maintained on a regular basis.
 Permit liberalization is needed.
 For a long time, China considered Arunachal
Pradesh to be a part of its territory.
 Over the years, the political situation has
remained uncertain.
 Traditional village councils, Panchayati raj
bodies, and the legislative assembly are all
in operation at the same time.
2/3/2021
Economical’
 It has a lot of potential for hydropower.
 Fruit orchards and horticulture can be encouraged.
 The key industries are rice mills, fruit preservation and processing
plants, and handloom handicrafts. The use of sawmills and the selling
of plywood are also prohibited by law. There are several saw mills in
AP.
 Since the majority of the population consumes meat, ranching,
canning, and meat processing should be pursued.
 Participation of as many local residents as possible in tourism-related
growth activities.
 The use of funds generated from visitor spending income for the
socioeconomic upliftment of people.
 Seats reserved for state/local residents in Hotel Management Institutes,
Travel & Tourism Management Institutes, and Catering Institutes.
 Organizing a public awareness drive with the participation of
prominent local figures.
2/3/2021
Social
 Traditional village councils, Panchayati raj bodies, and the
legislative assembly are all in operation at the same time.
 Surges may be necessary to stop them, and visitors must be
provided with full protection on a global scale.
 Due to the lack of other big established destinations, everybody
now travels to Assam in the north-east.
 Caravan travel can be used to build a more sustainable option.
 Globalization has mixed feelings among the tribes.
 The implementation of the election feature and the creation of
higher level political bodies has shifted the political culture and
perspective of local level leaders, training them to think in terms
of districts and whole territories rather than villages,
communities, or tribes.
 Tribal culture is becoming more politicized.
2/3/2021
Technological
investments
 Itanangar is attempting to expand its
manufacturing sector and create jobs.
 Lack of internet connectivity and reliable network
conditions have hindered the villages' progress.
 The lack of transportation access and delays
caused by bad road conditions affect villages
outside of the main town.
 The government must take help from central
Financial Assistance to state government.
2/3/2021
 Seek Assistance from Tourism financial Corporation of India (TFCI)
 A competitive advantage in terms of marketplace, image, and brand.
Conduct a thorough qualitative and quantitative market analysis
program in the source markets you've chosen.
 Identify and assemble a highly appealing product offering tailored to the
needs of each source market, as well as establish and execute ongoing
cost-effective marketing programs in each source market.
 In each source market, establish an efficient and ongoing market
representation presence with the travel trade.
 Create an Internet portal in multiple languages to meet the details,
product description, and product sales needs of each source market's
target market segments.
 Enlist the support of the stakeholders. Improve communication and raise
awareness of the benefits of tourism among tribal communities.
 Construct and grow with care, keeping the aim of sustainability in mind.
 Join forces with the government, hire locals to show off their village or
community, and train them.
 Campaigns on social media, tournaments, festivals, and ads will also
help to raise awareness.
 To provide additional help, contact the state government. Show them
your company's USP and use the characteristics to persuade them.
 Promote and build facilities for eco-tourism, adventure tourism, golf
tourism, tribal and cultural tourism, and other types of tourism.
Conclusion
Thank

It was only after it was realized how important it was that it was introduced to the market. Ziro is a village in Arunachal Pradesh's mountains. Here, too, the same wild fruit grew. Due to a lack of information and understanding. These fruits either rotted or were eaten by cattle. With her farm, the creator witnessed this. She then decided to transform it into wine. • 8. Introduction- Ziro Jan ,Feb ,March, Oct, Nov , Dec | From Itanangar 110 km Aptanai Culture: The Apatanis, one of the main ethnic groups in the eastern Himalayas, have developed a distinct society based on organized land-use activities and a wealth of traditional ecological knowledge of natural resource management and conservation, which they have acquired through centuries of informal experimentation. The tribe is known for its colorful culture of festivals, intricate craftsmanship, cane and bamboo skills, and vibrant traditional village councils called bulyan. This has made Ziro Valley a good example of a living cultural landscape in which man and the environment have harmoniously coexisted in a state of interdependence, even through changing times. The tribe is renowned for its vibrant traditional village councils known as bulyan, as well as its colourful culture, which includes festivals, intricate handloom designs, cane and bamboo crafts, and vibrant traditional village councils. This has made Ziro Valley a good example of a living cultural landscape where man and nature have coexisted in a state of interdependence during changing times, with traditional traditions and philosophical belief systems fostering such coexistence. The valley is known for its judicious use of limited land space. The valley's relatively flat land is used for wet-rice cultivation, as well as fish rearing. This systematic land-use pattern ensures a high degree of biodiversity in the region as well as effective watershed management, ensuring perennial streams flow into the valley to meet the needs of the people.
  • 9. History Jan ,Feb ,March, Oct, Nov , Dec | From Itanangar 110 km The Subansiri River, a tributary of the Mighty Brahmaputra that flows through Raga Circle of the District, gave the district its name. The district was a part of Assam's North Lakhimpur District until 1914. The area covered by this District was designated as part of the Lakhimpur Frontier Tract of the "North East Frontier Tract" by a Government of India Notification issued in 1914. The Lakhimpur Frontier Tract, along with the Western zone, was renamed the " Balipara Frontier Tract" in March 1919 by another public Notification. The district area is known as the "Subansiri area" was carved out of the Balipara Frontier Tract in 1946, with its headquarters in North Lakhimpur. Subansiri Area was renamed the "Subansiri Frontier Division" in 1954, and its headquarters were moved to Ziro later that year. The District was under the Ministry of External Affairs as part of NEFA, and the in-charge was a political officer. On September 1, 1965, the Ministry of Home Affairs took over administrative control of NEFA from the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Subansiri Frontier Division was renamed Subansiri District, with the political officer renamed Deputy Commissioner, Extra Political Officer as Extra Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Political Officer(I) as Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Political Officer(II) as Assistant Commissioner, and Assistant Political Officer(III) as Assistant Commissioner. On May 13, 1980, Subansiri District was divided into Lower and Upper Subansiri Districts, with Upper Subansiri District covering the area of the then Deporijo Sub- Division and Lower Subansiri District covering the rest of the erstwhile Subansiri District. Lower Subansiri District divided on September 22, 1992, and Papumpare District created. Kurung Kumay District was further bifurcated on April 16, 2001, with areas occupied by the Koloriang Sub-division & a part of the Ziro (Sadar) Sub-division becoming a separate District. On October 1, 2017, a new Kamle district was created, with three administration circles from the Lower Subansiri District and three from the Upper Subansiri District. Lower Subansiri circles to be cut out are Raga, Dolungmukh, and Kumpurijio.

  • 11. Introduction –Daporjio (History) Daporjio was designated as the circle's headquarters in 1953. In 1957, the Circle was elevated to a sub-division, and in 1959, it was merged with more land on the northeast side of the river Subansiri. One Additional Political Officer was in charge of the sub-division. In 1964, the role of Additional Political Officer was renamed Add. Deputy Commissioner. Upper Subansiri was the name given to the district when it was formed in 1980. The terrain is rugged and challenging in this district. The river Subansiri has cut through the landscape. At the north, snow-caved mountains with heights ranging from 7000 to 18000 feet (above sea level) act as a barrier. The majority of the land is uninhabitable. The upper, upper middle, middle, and lower regions, respectively, are largely covered by dense forest consisting of Aplne, moist temperature tropical pine, and temperate we evergreen forests. The district has a diverse range of flora and fauna. Oct &Nov | From Ziro 166.5 km
  • 12. Introduction –Daporjio (Culture) Oct &Nov | From Ziro 166.5 km Daporjio is a small hill village in Arunachal Pradesh's Subansiri district, located in the upper area. Tall bamboo trees, pastoral paddy fields, and sandy beaches are all part of the area's natural beauty. Daporjio is stunning, with virgin scenery all around to enthrall visitors. It is an adventurer's paradise where they can meet their adrenaline cravings. A cave exploration to Meghna Cave Temple is possible. Daporjio is also an empyrean for anthropologists due to the presence of the local Tagin Tribe. The best time to go culture-hopping is during the Si Donyi Festival, which takes place in January. One of the native tribe's most significant festivals. Worship of the Sun and Earth as primary deities, animal sacrifices, and celestial singing are examples of rituals. • 14. Introduction-Aalo(Along) Galo Tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, India The Galo tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, which lives in the state's middle eastern region, is one of the state's most populous tribes. Despite their poor road conditions, Aalo and Basar, the two major district headquarters in this part of Arunachal Pradesh, are excellent starting points for exploring the surrounding Galo villages. The majority of Galo villages are well-kept and organized. On either side of the main street, there are rows of thatched houses on stilts. The space underneath these houses was once used to store firewood and house livestock, but to improve sanitation, the animals were moved to separate shelters in the backyard. Engineered granaries, which are very effective at keeping rodents away, can also be used.
  • 15. Introduction-Aalo(Along) Customary laws that are equal, forward-thinking, and inspiring - All the Galo tribe's practices and rituals represent a strong sense of community and family. The last syllable of the father's name is the starting point for every child's name. Respect and honor are shown to children, women, and the elderly. It is illegal to marry a minor. Women have full ownership of their family's jewelry and are entitled to a reasonable share of the assets. Caring for elderly parents is not only encouraged, but also mandated by laws that place limitations on those who do not inherit. The Galo tribe is also one of the most disciplined of Arunachal Pradesh's tribes. Bogum boka, a series of laws conceived and drafted by village elders, governs their everyday lives. In certain ways, these laws are inclusive, and they apply to all, regardless of age, gender, or social status. Jhum cultivation is ecologically sound, according to the Galos.- The Galos are a jhum-cultivating agrarian society. Burning specific land areas to remove weeds and planting for 2-3 years. Allow 10-12 years for it to be followed. The soil replenishes its nutrient content during this period. This practice takes place on private land. The village council approves this, and it is not based on forest cover. Also untouched are large trees and medicinal plants. The Landowners' household must keep a close eye on the fire as it burns. To keep the fire from spreading further. This is a superior method of farming for the tribes. What is the reason for this? Since the carbon in the ashes neutralizes soil acidity, fertilizers are no longer needed. Pesticides will be avoided if the lunar calendar is followed. They plan sowing and harvesting based on this. All the villagers work together to build a new farm plot. Whether it's a new piece of land or a ready-to-farm field. They are a friendly tribe with a distinct culture. They'll give you an authentic, WOW look at Indian tribal culture. The Mopin Festival, held in April, is the best time to see and appreciate their culture. According to legend, Adi's main festival, Solung, began when the Goddess of Riches, Kiine-Naane, requested that they conduct this worship or puja.’ The Adis celebrate Solung for five days in September. The Solung Gidi Dogin, or first day, is spent preparing for the event. Animals are slaughtered on the second day, Doreph Long. Binnyat Binam, or the third day, is a day of prayer. Taktor of Ekoph is the fourth day, and it is on this day that arms and ammunition are made. Miri, the fifth day, is a farewell day. Solung, Solung Abangs lyrics depict the lives of humans, animals, plants, and other creatures. Ponung and Taapu war dances are also popular among the Adi people. The West Siang and East Siang districts of Arunachal Pradesh were combined to form the Siang district, which consists of 32 Rumgong-Kaying and 35 Boleng-Pangin constituencies. On November 27, 2015, the district was opened. The district takes its name from the mighty Brahmaputra River, also known as the Siang River in Arunachal Pradesh. Siang District is almost in the centre of Arunachal Pradesh's Siang belt. Pangin is 80 kilometers from Pasighat, 30 kilometers from Along, and 22 kilometers from Boleng. On March 21, 2013, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh approved the establishment of Siang district. The new district was formed to bring the administration closer to the general public.
