This document provides an overview and expectations for a Year 12 Philosophy study skills course. It outlines that students should be well organized with notes divided into sections in an A4 binder. Regular attendance is important as is keeping up with assigned readings, which will prepare students for undergraduate studies. Students are expected to read beyond assigned texts by keeping up with current events and using examples in arguments. Maintaining a scrapbook of ethical issues in news can help with revision. The course consists of two units taught by different teachers and assessed through exams in May 2012.
