Assignment
Each student is to create:
A short profile video on themselves
could include…
Think of the personal inventory you did in the first couple quarters, e.g.
values, one word that describes you, favorite quote, your bio, 12 slides, etc.
Parameters
Duration: 1 - 2:20 minutes (if you need to go over, fine, just cap it at 5 min.)
Group size: 1 - 3 members
Due date: December 5th

Treatment
A treatment is a detailed summary of your video

Communicates your important sequences, scenes, and story points
Script
All words and actions that will be within your video

This is a written, chronological, sequencing of all that will occur within the
video
❖
Best accomplished through word or Celtx.com
Storyboard
“A storyboard is a graphic organizer in the form of illustrations or images
displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture,
animation, motion graphic or interactive media sequence.”

Utilize images or drawings to visualize what your video will look like from
start to finish

Combine all of your footage into a timeline.
Timeline:
In video editing, timeline is a commonly used interface found in most video
editing programs. This interface enables authors to lay a video project out in
a linear fashion horizontally across a monitor.

iMovie, DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Blender, Lightworks, Etc.
