the following: 2. When a physician/med. tech./nurse evaluates your blood type, they often

red blood cells is called the Rhesus factor and the allele that codes for the factor is dominant over
a mutated form of the gene that results in the factor being absent from red blood cells. A
population of 900 students was surveyed to determine the frequency of positive and negative
blood types. Ninety-three percent of the students are R h -positive, that is, they have the Rhesus
factor. If the population is in HWE, how many students would have each of the following
genotypes: homozygous dominant, heterozygous, and homozygous recessive?
