I work for the Towers BMW which usually mean building maintenance worker. I began my site
on October 15, 2017 although I had it discussed earlier with my employer, my boss David
Jahwasowitz wanted me to pause the progress I made until the Wood Shop I work in received
more lumber for a new project. That day arrived in the form of fifty moving carts that need to be
built and distributed throughout the campuses of Central and, eight wooden cabinets that need
to be built for first floor Campbell study rooms. Now I have worked on a moving cart deadline,
however I have never led the charge. This requires for me too retrieve the lumber needed from
the warehouse in work vans, or leading my co workers to unload lumber if it is being shipped
directly too the CMU Towers dorms. With this being a college job the turnover rate is obviously
high so I deal with new faces often, which mean they have to be taught how to operate in the
woodshop. This year we have two new members that joined just this semester both named Nate,
we also have Anthony who s worked in the woodshop for a year. I ve worked in the woodshop
for 3 years. When working in the woodshop you find that the longest part is not in the assembly
but in the set up of getting all the machines, jigs, lumber, tools, supplies, and workers all

I reasonably enjoyed reading The Loudest Duck; it was very informative and gave me very
different points of view. It hit the ground running with a statistic that as of 2010 there were 13

are drastically lower than what it would be if it followed the population of the U.S. Looking at this
simply, it shows that females and blacks (along with other non dominant groups) are disadvantaged

between the dominant group and the non dominant group through the symbolism of the dominant
group as an elephant and the non dominant group as a mouse. The idea is that the elephant doesn t
needto pay attention to what the mouse does or care about its thoughts, but the mouse needs to
learn the elephant s behavior and the way it reacts in order to survive being around the elephant

A Response to Nozick s Conception of Knowledge In everyday life, people often claim knowledge
of various facts and experiences. However, despite the regularity of such claims, it is difficult to
articulate what knowledge specifically is and what conditions are necessary to constitute
knowledge of a specific fact or event. One set of conditions for knowledge, known as justified true
belief, states that a person knows something if that thing is true, if they believe it, and if they
are justified in believing it (Gettier 345). This theory, however, was shown to be problematic by
the philosopher Edmund Gettier. By proposing two examples, Gettier showed that the
conditions of justified true belief are not sufficient to establish knowledge (345 346). Although
Gettier found this flaw, he did not propose any alternate conditions of knowledge to add to or
replace those of justified true belief (346). This is where Nozick s idea of knowledge, presented
in Knowledge from Philosophical Explanations, becomes relevant. Nozick s conditions for
knowledge attempt to define knowledge without being swayed by cases such as the Gettier
examples. In this paper, I will first summarize Nozick s conception of knowledge as well as some
of the reasoning for including each condition. I will then try to find an example to show that Nozick
s conditions, although more widely applicable to knowledge than justified true

My culture, interaction with family and friends, and the various experiences from co curricular
