increase the rate of sight word acquisition within students with a learning disability in a resource
room setting. The study was comprised of two participants, a nine year old boy with directionality
and perceptual difficulties and an eleven year old boy with auditory figure ground discrimination.
Both participants were two years below grade level in word recognition, had a diagnosis of a

the prosecutor and the defense attorney because the prosecutor will have a conviction and the
defense attorney would have gained a lesser charge for his client. Throughout this paper I will lead
you through the process of plea bargaining, the pros and cons, and how it reflects on crimecontrol
and the due process model.
Plea Bargaining
What is plea bargaining? According to Black s Law Dictionary it is a negotiated agreement
between a prosecutor and a criminal defendant whereby the defendant pleads guilty to a lesser
offense or to one of multiple charges in exchange for some concession by the prosecutor. This
usually involves the defendant pleading guilty to a lighter sentence. If the offer by the prosecution
is accepted then the defendant can either plead guilty or nolo contendere which means I do not
contest this. Both of the pleas are similar, the only difference is the nolo contendere plea cannot be
used as admission of guilt in a civil case (Siegel, Schmalleger, Worrall, Chapter 12, 2011).... Show
Sentence bargaining is a technique of plea bargaining in which the prosecutor agrees to endorse
a lighter sentence for precise charges if the offender pleads guilty or no contest to them. Charge
bargaining is a process where prosecutors agree to drop some charges or decrease a charge to a less
serious crime in exchange for a plea by the defendant.

Eat it if you can Pronounce It The word Organic can be defined in multiple ways but what the word
basically means that the product is derived from living matter. Organic farming produces organic
food. The goal is to encourage soil and water conservation, reduce pollution, and constrain
conventional methods to fertilize and control weeds. According to the U.S Food and Drug
Administration The term organic is not defined by law or regulations FDA enforces. Foods that are
organic does not necessarily mean that they are healthy. There are organically refined unhealthy
foods such as wholesome branded cane sugar and Applegate branded pork sausages products that
are labeled as organic but is obviously not the healthiest choice. Labeling a food product as organic
does not make consumption completely healthy for infants. Drug Administration Organic produce
derives from farming involving growth without using any type of genetically modified organisms,
synthetic fertilizers, sewage, and pesticides. When meat products are organically refined the
animals the meat comes from do not receive any antibiotics or hormones that manipulate growth
increase. The department of the United States government that is responsible for programming
anything related to food, agriculture and nutrition (USDA) defines organic as food produced by
farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to
enhance environmental quality for future generations.
