Within a short period of time they converted the company into a private limited company. The
company now has 55 employees and over 500 customers. The head office of the company is
located in Mumbai, Khar (West). It has branches in three major Indian cities (Pune, Delhi and
Bangalore) and it has recently set up a fully owned subsidiary in Dubai, One Network FZC. A
few of its prestigious customers are the Bank of Maharashtra, Citibank, Tata Chemicals and the
Central Bank of India. The company offers service twenty four hours a day and seven days a
week as a global support centre for a company named Billion in Taiwan; they offer Telephonic
Online IM Support on various ADSL SSL range of Products. The company plans to offer its
services in the United Kingdom for various reasons such as expanding and earning a better brand
image and also to increase its profitability.2
The company has obtained the license for starting up their business in the UK3, but they still want
to consider all the factors and the amount of finance that would be needed before starting up their
business in the United Kingdom.
The following research is intended to look in to various aspects that could influence the company s
decision to extend its branch to UK.
RATIONALE: One Network India Pvt Ltd has its branches in India furthermore it plans to expand
and start supplying their products services in places like Dubai and London.
