and polysaccharides. Most simple carbohydrates result in a positive test, some complex carbohydrates
can result in a negative test.
Hypothesis: Tube 2 will be the positive control that changes colors, and Tube 1 will be the negative
control that remains the same color.

In test tube 1 add 5mL of water, 10 drops of water and 20 drops of Benedict s solution

world of New Zealand. This is the issue of structural inequality creating an unjust welfare system
which perpetuates stereotypes and damages the support that beneficiaries are provided by our
