1. Dear Friends,
Love and peace to you in the Name of our Lord.
What a privilege and honour to be a Christian with the right to be called sons of God and to live in
these challenging and often trying times. I don’t think that the world has ever witnessed such a global
divide between what is wrong and what is right. Out Lord defined it very well when He said that He
came to give life and abundance while the thieve came to steal, to kill and to destroy.
To many it seems as if all systems are failing, however, at the same time it seems as if the church it
rising up again, taking up its responsibilities and authority to do what it has been called to do.
It is a fact that countries that uphold the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and keep Him central to their
existence are just more blessed than other.
At the recent very encouraging national conference of the Assemblies of God in Cape Town, we were
blessed with the testimonies of church planters about crime rates dropping and general welfare
moving in when Christ becomes the centre of it all.
I feel it is time for the church to become radical and
‘militant’ again. Not militant in the sense of fighting flesh
and blood with AK47’s and machetes, but being active
in advancing the Kingdom of God through obedience to
the Great Commission, telling the people about the
love of God and salvation in Jesus Name. It is our task
to make know the manifest wisdom of God to powers
and principalities in heavenly places and to do it with
passion
Thulamahashe
Dean Vernon and myself went on a short outreach to Thulamahashe,
Mpulalanga, SA. This is a very huge, not very rich area where crime is
surprisingly low. Ps Enock Ndlovo informed us that there are many good
(though small) Christian churches and that the people are very serious in
their faith. This is another testimony of God’s grace where His Son is
honoured as Lord of all. (Dean preaching, ps Enock translating – on right side)
India.
Our co-worker Johan Greeff and his team went to India in February and had quite an extensive
ministry journey with teaching, preaching and visiting churches in the states of Orissa, Chattisgarph
and Madhya Pradesh. Nihar Nanda is still going strong and we are glad to hear their reports of the
work expanding as churches being planted in various areas.
If the Lord is willing we will visit India again in November.

2. Xanadu
It was an honour to be one of the speakers at Bethel Ministries’
new church plant in Xanadu, North West Province. SA. What a
blessing to see new churches being planted and growing,
reaching out to the lost and advancing the Kingdom of God. It is
our prayer that our Lord will bless this ministry started by ps
Warren Holmes.
Cape Town
Our yearly visit to Cape Town is
always a blessing as we have the
opportunity to see our children
Hannes, Natalie and Tatum as
well as attending the national
conference of the Assemblies of
God and also to be used in
ministry at different churches.
The picture on the left shows some new commitments at The Rock Church in Sunningdale. (left)
Our relationship with Kensington AOG, CT comes a long way. The ministry went well and we prayed
for many saints. (right)
Carletonville and Fochville
People committing their lives to
the Lord at Christian Life centre,
Carletonville, Gauteng, SA
Pastor Willy and Trudy van
Rooyen is doing a tremendous
job in this part of the world and we
thank God for them. (left)
Two years ago they also planted
a church in Fochville where ps
Willem and Mariska Hartley are leading the flock. This remarkable church has grown from almost
nothing to a full church of more than hundred saints attending on a Sunday morning. They now have
the blessed problem of having a too small facility. Praise the Lord for young leaders who are on fire
for the work of God
Meyerton
We experienced one of the most
amazing times as preachers at
Hope Family Church in Meyerton,
SA when we attended and
preached at their prayer and
fasting conference over the
Passover weekend.
The presence of the Holy Spirit
was so intense. Words cannot describe such an event and we realized once again that our Lord’s
strength is made perfect in our weakness. Thank you Lord for your signs follows those who believe.

With ps Leo and Candice Kirsten at Winds of Change,
Walkerville. This is another young church (a church plant
from ps Jerome and Estralita Damons from Winds of
Change Mondeor) that is buzzing and growing under the
leadership of this beautiful young pastoral couple
The Shepherd’s Flock Ministries
11 Years ago God opened a door for us to stay at Shepherd’s
Flock Ministries. Our ministry of traveling would have been much
more challenging if we did not have this safe harbour to operate
from.
Lately this ministry has been under severe attack in various
ways. Thieves broke into the garage and stole valuable tools,
they stole our car’s wheels and last night they stole the old
faithful Toyota Venture. This ministry also operates on faith like
we do, and the loss to them is therefore severe.
This is an urgent prayer request to all the saints out there. Please pray for divine protection over this
place that has been a harbour for many people over many years, as well as for ps Pretorius to
remain strong and steadfast in the faith.
We are on our way for three weeks of ministry in the Eastern Cape, SA, Then back to Gauteng until June 4 when we will
begin with ministry abroad. Our first destination will be Hong King, then Malaysia followed by Singapore and Philippines.
I have also saddled up another huge horse by enrolling for further studies relating to new sounds in the end time church. I
have decided to enter this course for two reasons: firstly; this is part of our day to day activities and secondly; I have
found from previous specialized studies that focused studying is such a great source to enhance one’s knowledge of the
Bible and the church of Jesus Christ. Please keep me in your prayers as we are not getting any younger!
Once again we thank you all for your interest, prayer and / or support for our ministry. We pray that our Lord will bless you
and your family and ministry in all your ways. Many precious people are coming to the Lord for salvation, being healed
and set free. You are as much part of this ministry as we are. Thank You!
