Cooking solutions must address user needs and finance all stages of the value chain. Meeting Sustainable Development Goal 7 on energy will require integrated approaches and strengthened implementation.

System On Chip (SOC)
System on Chip (SoC) integrates processor, memory and other components onto a single chip. Advances in VLSI technology allow millions of transistors to be placed on a single die, enabling entire systems to be implemented as SoCs. This provides benefits like lower cost, power consumption and size compared to discrete components. However, designing highly complex SoCs presents challenges related to design time, verification and complexity. Reusing pre-designed and verified intellectual property (IP) cores is a solution that helps manage this complexity.

Disruptive & Breakthrough innovations alter our world. Some domains of Technology are altering and evolving at a pace that is almost alarming. However, the future is never predictable and a breakthrough technology in a domain can revolutionaries the way the world works and conducts without much warning. The Moore's Law was expected to hit a plateau and now with advent of Quantum computing it has again become relevant and computational speeds may even outpace Moore's Law. The material technologies including nano-science will continue to excite the researchers and Bio-sciences with synergising affects of other domains of science can be predicted to take giant leaps. Artificial Intelligence is probably expected to pervade everything we touch and feel.

System On Chip (SOC)
System on Chip (SoC) integrates processor, memory and other components onto a single chip. Advances in VLSI technology allow millions of transistors to be placed on a single die, enabling entire systems to be implemented as SoCs. However, the future is never predictable and a breakthrough technology in a domain can revolutionaries the way the world works and conducts without much warning. The Moore's Law was expected to hit a plateau and now with advent of Quantum computing it has again become relevant and computational speeds may even outpace Moore's Law. The material technologies including nano-science will continue to excite the researchers and Bio-sciences with synergising affects of other domains of science can be predicted to take giant leaps. Artificial Intelligence is probably expected to pervade everything we touch and feel.

The research investigated growing vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VA-CNTs) on flexible metal foil and lithographic nickel cantilever substrates to create hierarchical, compliant structures capable of van der Waals adhesion forces. Mechanical testing of CNT samples on silicon and nickel substrates showed adhesion in the range of 0.5-2 N/cm2 for small areas and below 1.5 N/cm2 for larger areas, with 15-20% of samples exceeding 0.1 N/cm2. While progress was made in growing CNTs on flexible substrates and measuring adhesion of larger sample areas, significant challenges remain
