Rom 8:5-8 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

It is important to know that God made us to have emotions, therefore, having emotions in itself, is not a sin. However, if we are not careful, satan can manipulate our emotions, such as anger, and cause us to hate or kill another person! Satan can lead one to believe that the lust they have is really “love,” justifying acts of adultery, fornication and sodomy.
Jesus teaches a wonder parable about farming, soil, and the seed. The seed is the word of God the Gospel. In this lesson we will cover the value of the farmer and the seed.

Introduction: The Heart of the Story and Our Story
Introduction to The Story. A study by Randy Frazee.
"To understand the Bible, says author and pastor Randy Frazee, you need bifocal lenses, because two perspectives are involved. The Lower Story, our story, is actually many stories of men and women interacting with God in the daily course of life. The Upper Story is God’s story, the tale of his great, overarching purpose that puts the individual stories together like panels in one unified mural. Bestselling author Max Lucado also adds some introductory insights. Through these 31 video sessions, The Story small group study opens your eyes to God’s master plan as it unfolds in the lives of the Bible’s characters. Discover the heart of God’s Upper Story and the joy that comes as you align your story with God’s."

Preaching according to God's heart, Follow the will of my heavenly father => ...franktsao4
When we preach, if our goal is to make others understand the content of the preaching according to the world’s methods. Is this God’s will? In this chapter, we will discuss from God’s will, from salvation, to love, to the establishment of faith, because only by increasing everyone’s faith can there be the possibility of indwelling Jesus Christ. Only in this way we can achieve preaching purpose. This chapter is to try to explain how it can increase everyone’s confidence through preaching.
These slides are intended to explain Christmas to those who may be unfamiliar, such as international students. The perspective is from the Bible. Good for presentations.
Shalom Saints,
It is in this time of Purim that we are reminded again of the power of putting on the armour of God.
Having situations and calamities still happening in our lives, we are still struggling with the very basic in our lives, to obtain peace and His promise.
Paul focused the believer on spiritual warfare, who we are wrestling with...
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
...against principalities,
...against powers,
...against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
...against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The believer will not stand a chance if he does not put on the FULL armour of God. A partial armour also makes the believer vulnerable.
Let's learn how the enemy attack believers and how the armour of God protect us. Also to claim this privilege of protection that God has given unto each one of us.
Ephesians 6:13 NKJV
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Earthquake in Turkey, flood in Johor, snow in Hollywood...you can name each disaster that may seemed a distance to us physically. One disaster that is closest to ourselves is when it happen to our family.
Come and join us and learn how we can put on this armor corporately and stand firm on His protection and promise.
As you know who we are, a prayer altar. Come and join us who can pray for you behind your back.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

1. Psalms 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and
every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
2. • "It is impossible to
enslave mentally or
socially a Bible-
reading people. The
principles of the Bible
are the groundwork of
human freedom."
Horace Greeley
3. "I believe the
Bible is the best
gift God has
ever given to
man." Abraham
Lincoln
4. • "It is impossible
to rightly govern
the world
without God and
the Bible."
George
Washington
5. • "I have a
fundamental belief
in the Bible as the
Word of God,
written by men who
were inspired. I
study the Bible
daily." Sir Isaac
Newton
6.
7. That we may know Christ
• John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in
them ye think ye have eternal life: and
they are they which testify of me.
• John 6:68-69 Then Simon Peter
answered him, Lord, to whom shall we
go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
And we believe and are sure that thou
art that Christ, the Son of the living
God.
8. • Acts 8:35-37 Then Philip opened his
mouth, and began at the same
scripture, and preached unto him
Jesus. And as they went on their way,
they came unto a certain water: and
the eunuch said, See, here is water;
what doth hinder me to be baptized?
And Philip said, If thou believest with
all thine heart, thou mayest. And he
answered and said, I believe that
Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
9. That we may have eternal life
• John 20:31 But these are written, that ye
might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God; and that believing ye might
have life through his name.
• 1 John 5:13 These things have I written
unto you that believe on the name of the
Son of God; that ye may know that ye
have eternal life, and that ye may believe
on the name of the Son of God.
10. That we may profit by it.
• 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is
given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: That the man of
God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works.
11. • Doctrine- (what is right)
• Reproof- (what is not right)
• Correction- (How to be right)
• Instruction in righteousness- (how
to stay right)
12. That we may have comfort and
Joy.
• 1 John 1:4 And these things write we
unto you, that your joy may be full.
• 1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort
one another with these words.
• Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ
dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another
in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing with grace in your hearts
to the Lord.
13. That we may have faith and
hope.
• Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things
were written aforetime were written for
our learning, that we through patience
and comfort of the scriptures might
have hope.
• Romans 15:5 Now the God of patience
and consolation grant you to be
likeminded one toward another
according to Christ Jesus:
14. • Romans 10:17
So then faith
cometh by
hearing, and
hearing by the
word of God.
15. That we may know our hearts
and have a conviction.
• Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God
is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing
even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.
16. • 2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure
word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well
that ye take heed, as unto a light that
shineth in a dark place, until the day
dawn, and the day star arise in your
hearts:
• 2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no
prophecy of the scripture is of any private
interpretation.
• 2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in
old time by the will of man: but holy men
of God spake as they were moved by the
Holy Ghost.
