This document outlines steps for spiritual growth through believing, acting on, and confessing God's word:
1) Believing God's word means trusting in the truth of scripture rather than circumstances.
2) Acting on God's word involves obeying what scripture says, like Peter walking on water at Jesus' command.
3) Believing and acting on God's word brings salvation and blessings, as when the jailer believed and was baptized along with his household. Confessing God's word through speaking it aloud can help manifest promises.
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Sermon by: Brian Birdow
Hebrews 4:11-13 God's Word: Produces faith, cleanses us, brings reconciliation, tells us how to be saved, blesses us, answers life's questions, solves life's problems, helps us weather life's storms, tells us what is right and wrong, produces fruit in our lives, will judge us.
Ephesians 1:3 says "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places..." But, what are these blessings and what does it mean?
The "Learning and Living the God-centered life" had a retreat in which the theme was The Gospel. Here is our Friday night teaching was specifically designed to exhort each of us to stay steadfast in Christ!
I am sharing about how being connected to Jesus, who is the Word made flesh, is a powerful connection for living an abundant life. We can receive abundance, blessings, etc.

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. Summary
This outline lists the spiritual growth
for the believer who want victory and
answer to prayer in their lives

Believe ?
4. 1. Believing God’s Word
JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
5. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I
believe God, that it shall be even as it
was told me.
ACTS 27:25
6. LUKE 1:38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May
your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
PSALM 119:107 I have suffered much;
preserve my life, Lord, according to your word.
MAT 21;22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer,
believing, ye shall receive.
7. A. We should not just look at
circumstances.
Do not just look at the mountain.
Look also to the promises of God!
8. Mark 11:23 23 For verily I say unto you, That
whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall
doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those
which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have
whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever
desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them.
9. B. God can make a way where there is
no way.
Look at the children of Israel as they
left Egypt. For 40 years, God took care
of them in the wilderness
10. C. We need to see our mountains as
God’s sees them
11. 1. We then must remember where
He has called us to sit.
12. 2.This is our position in Christ.
EPH 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us
with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places
in Christ: Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up
together, and made us sit together in
heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
13. IF THEY OBEY AND SERVE HIM, THEY WILL SPEND
THE REST OF THEIR DAYS IN PROSPERITY AND THEIR
YEARS IN CONTENTMENT.
ISAIAH 1:19 IF YOU ARE WILLING AND OBEDIENT,
YOU WILL EAT THE GOOD THINGS OF THE LAND;
JOB 36:11
14. God’s Word works for everyone – if the
person will only believe it – not try to
believe. The Word won’t work if you
just try it or hope it will work.
16. Beloved, your actions must correspond with your
believing if you are going to receive from God.
James 1: 22 says, “But don’t just listen to God’s
Word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are
only fooling yourselves.” We have many self-
deluded people
17. They blame their faith failures on the devil
or on someone else when really they have
deluded themselves.
They are not acting on the Word or being
doers of the Word.
The action of a doer of the Word must
coincide with his/her confession.
18. Luke 5:5 And Simon answering said
unto him, Master, we have toiled all
the night, and have taken nothing:
nevertheless at thy word I will let
down the net.
19. A. Do not look at natural circumstances.
B. Simon first looked to himself. Then he
looked to the Lord and acted on His Word.
C. The Result was a great harvest.
1. We can do so much more when we look to
Him rather than our own abilities.
20. D. Peter walking on the water, feeding the
multitudes, doing the impossible.
MAT 14:28 And Peter answered Him and said,
“Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the
water.”
MAT 14; 17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two
fish,” they answered.
22. Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said,
Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord
Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy
house.
Acts 16:32 And they spake unto him the word
of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
23. Acts 16:33 And he took them the same hour of
the night, and washed their stripes; and was
baptized, he and all his, straightway.
Acts 16:34 And when he had brought them
into his house, he set meat before them, and
rejoiced, believing in God with all his
25. Matt 8:9 For I am a man under authority,
having soldiers under me: and I say to this
man, Go, and he goeth; and to another,
Come, and he cometh; and to my servant,
Do this, and he doeth it.
26. A. The Word has Authority.
B. We send the Word as we pray the
Word of God.
C. Our prayers need to always be
mixed with the Word!
27. D. The Word of God is the Will of God and
the Word tells us in 1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have in him,
that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he
heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever
we ask, we know that we have the petitions that
we desired of him.
29. JOS 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on
your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that
you may be careful to do everything written
it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
30. Confession the word is a key weapon for the
believer,
We must now bring the promise to birth
(manifestation) by confessing it by faith (v23).
That which is conceived...
31. Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh
thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:
that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
32. When a person hears the message of the
gospel, all that God requires is to respond to
it by faith. Faith is believing the message sent
from God.
There is no need for extraordinary means to
discover who and what Christ is.
‘God clearly gave us the message of salvation
in the gospel
33. The message is simple.
It is a different kind of righteousness.
Righteousness by faith is very different from
righteousness that comes from keeping the law.
The plan of salvation does not require us to do what
is impossible to do,
The gospel is attainable by faith.
34. A. When we say what God says we
are speaking the Word of Faith.
1.Nothing is more powerful than that.
35. Hebrews. 11:3 Through faith we
understand that the worlds were framed
by the word of God, so that things which
are seen were not made of things which
do appear.
