In recent times many have laid claim to the title of being a prophet. This claim requires a look into scripture to reveal whether this is true or not. This presentation seeks to look at several tests that should be applied to claimants of the gift of prophecy and the tests as applied to an individual who actually passed all of them.

What is true knowledge? All knowledge is real knowledge if we see it in the way of the world, because we can see it and we can hear it in the news. But what is the true knowledge of the Bible? We can know from the study of the Bible that if it is not planted by the Lord, what is planted must be plucked up. Therefore, as long as it is not given to us by God, it cannot become true knowledge, and it will be plucked out. If he does not pluck it out, That will be a stumbling block for us and lead us to the place of death.
This is the greatest truth of the Bible that we MUST know in order to really know God, enjoy our life with Him as His child and be the person we want to be for others.
Here is a list of scriptures that I rely upon to know for certain that God loves me more than I could ever imagine or deserve!
The most important thing to believe in is what Jesus Christ did for you. Without the sacrifice Jesus made, we would have no opportunity to have a relationship with God both now and in the afterlife.

How did you learn to pray? Who taught you? How would you teach someone else to pray? What motivates you to pray? How do you think What does the Lord’s Prayer would motivate Jesus’ disciples to pray? What does the Lord’s Prayer have to do with loving God with all our heart?
Our Lord's prayer to His disciples motivates, as well as provides a model, for prayer. Do you need some encouragement and instruction in praying?

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

36. Justify The Wicked?
• Charles H. Spurgeon said, “The greatest wonder that
I ever heard of is that God should ever justify me. I
feel myself to be a lumpy of unworthiness, a mass of
corruption, and a heap of sin apart from His
almighty love. I know and am fully assured that I am
justified by faith which is in Christ Jesus, and I am
treated as if I had been perfectly just and made an
heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. And yet, by
nature I must take my place among the most sinful.
I, who am altogether undeserving, am treated as if I
had been deserving. I am loved with as much love as
if I had always been Godly, whereas before I was
ungodly. Who can help being astonished at this?
Gratitude for such favor stands dressed in robes of
wonder.”
37. Justify The Wicked?
• Janell Adams tells when, “Our son
Jonathan asked Jesus to come into his
heart when he was four. A few months
later as I was getting him ready for bed,
he asked in all seriousness,
• “Mom, what did I used to do when I was
wicked?”

39. Gal 3:29, Abraham's Seed, Singular
• NKJ Galatians 3:29 And if you are Christ's, then you
are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the
promise.
• Who received the promise?
• Who are the heirs to the promise?
• Galatians 3:19 Why the Law then? It was added
because of transgressions, having been ordained
through angels by the agency of a mediator, until
the seed would come to whom the promise had
been made.
40. Sanctification, progressive or finished?,
Compass.org, QUESTION FOR THE DAY
• “Dear Compass, “I am confused about "sanctification." (A well-known Bible
teacher) is teaching that we might need sanctifying again in heaven if we don’t
have enough good works here on earth and that we could be refused entrance
into the Marriage Supper of the Lamb because we were naked/didn't have
wedding clothes (gained from our good works on earth) and instead be cast into
"outer darkness" for 1000 years as sort of punishment and to sanctify us for not
having enough righteous acts on earth. What do you think?
• ANSWER: That's ridiculous. The Bible teaches unequivocally that Believers are
sanctified for eternity when they are “born again” (John 3:1-8). A “born again”
Believer is complete because of what Jesus did on the cross, not because of
anything we do while we are on this earth. We cannot add anything to what Jesus
has already done 2000 years ago.
• and in Him you have been made complete . . . —Colossians 2:10 A person has to
be perfectly and permanently cleansed before the Holy Spirit can permanently
indwell them. This happens when we are “born again” by the Spirit, made
possible because
41. • Jesus paid for our sins. That's why no one in the Old Testament could be born
again - have the Holy Spirit permanently live in them - because Jesus had yet
to die for their sins. It’s also why the Old Testament Believers couldn't go to
heaven until AFTER the cross - Jesus' shed blood on the cross paid for their
sins and therefore sanctified them and they were able to go to heaven only
after the resurrection (Luke 16:19-31; Ephesians 4:9; Matthew 27:51-53).
• All of our sins - past, present and FUTURE - were nailed to that cross.
• And when you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of
your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our
transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of
decrees against us and which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the
way, having nailed it to the cross. —Colossians 2:13-14The Bible promises
that the Holy Spirit will never leave us. His permanent indwelling is not based
on what we do or don't do, but rather what Jesus did on the cross,
confirming that sanctification is permanent/forever.
42. • I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you, —Hebrews 13:5And we, as
created beings, can never leave Him.
• For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth,
NOR ANY OTHER CREATED THING, shall be able to separate us from the love
of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. —Romans 8:38-39 (CAPS added for
emphasis) Sanctification is discussed at length in the Bible. It's interesting
that a Believer can be both a full-blown sinner and totally sanctified at the
same time.
• . . . that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those
who have been sanctified by faith in Me. —Acts 26:18 (“sanctified” is past
tense.). . . that my offering of the Gentiles might become acceptable,
sanctified by the Holy Spirit.—Romans 15:16 (“sanctified” is past tense.)”
• For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. —
Hebrews 10:14 (“sanctified” is present tense.)
43. • Therefore, Believers, cleansed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, are already
as sanctified as they’ll ever be on this earth. For God to permanently live in
us, we have to be 100% sanctified forever. Yet at the same time Believers are
dirty rotten sinners, living with the sin nature, until death or The Rapture.
• That means we also don't believe in "progressive sanctification," whereby
someone is getting more sanctified due to their "works" on the earth. We
believe we are incapable of doing anything worthwhile on our own, but can
do all things through Him (Philippians 4:13).
• Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected
by the flesh?—Galatians 3:3 Believers can mature in their knowledge of Him
and what He desires in them. And Believers can sin and grieve the Holy Spirit.
• Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of
redemption.—Ephesians 4:30 But Believers cannot do good works and have
them count for squat because it is the Holy Spirit Who does the good, not the
Believer. In summary, there is nothing you can do, or not do, to make
yourself more or less sanctified, more or less acceptable to God, or more or
less close to God - in this life or the next.”
44. Galatians 3:28, One in Christ
• This verse has been greatly misunderstood by very many
people. Because they did not check the context. It refers
to Christians. Only! To everyone whose sin debt has been
paid in full by the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
• Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in
Christ Jesus. 27 For all of you who were baptized into
Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is
neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man,
there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in
Christ Jesus. 29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are
Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.
