Why Pay For Your
   Home Phone Calls
  When It Can Be Free
    With Ooma Telo

Why Should You Buy Ooma Telo?
If you are a SOHO owner or consumer with an average monthly phone bill of as
little as $50, you should consider throwing away your plain old telephone system
(POTS) and buy Ooma Telo which is a Voice over IP (VoIP) system.

Why? This is because there are so many benefits to be gained when you replace the
old phone system with a VoIP system like the Ooma Telo but first let us look at
one of the most important benefit here for a SOHO owner – savings and hence
increased bottom line.

Let’s Look At What You Will Save With A VoIP System
Like The Ooma Telo

Looking at an example above, if you have a phone bill of $50 a month, you will
stand to save up to $308.36 in the first year. What this means is that when you buy
Ooma Telo to replace your POTS, the Telo will have paid for itself in less than six
months! After that it is all savings and you could potentially save up to $1,425.08
at the third year in this scenario.

If your phone bill is an average of $100 a month, then you will save up to $908.26
in the first year. That means your Ooma Telo will have paid for itself even faster –
in less than three months. Now you know why so many SOHO owners buy Ooma
Telo or other VoIP systems to replace their POTS.

The Benefits You Will Get When You Buy Ooma Telo To
Replace Your POTS
Apart from the key financial benefit highlighted above when you invest in the
Ooma Telo, here are the other benefits that comes along with it that will ensure
that when you buy Ooma Telo to replace your POTS, you get increased
productivity as well as improved efficiency and effectiveness:

Wire-speed QoS – The Telo only needs a fraction of the bandwidth of
standard VoIP technology. It can prioritize voice packets without slowing
down the rest of your network so that you can enjoy crystal clear calls even
as you’re uploading your latest video clips or large files
The HD Voice technology actually doubles the fidelity of your phone calls
by capturing twice the speech information of a standard voice call (yes, that
includes your landline). Hence when you and the other caller use an Ooma
Telo DECT 6.0 Cordless Handset, or any HD compatible phone, your voice
will sound more natural than ever
Advanced voice compression – Ooma uses an advanced voice compression
algorithm that reduces bandwidth consumption by 60% over standard VoIP
technology. That leaves you with more bandwidth for all your other online
      activities
Adaptive redundancy – Packet loss is the enemy of VoIP – it can cause
voice to sound stuttered or garbled. Ooma can detect packet loss on your
Internet connection before you even hear it and automatically deploy
redundant packets to boost the clarity of your phone call

Encrypted calls – Ooma takes your privacy seriously and it uses the same
encryption technology governments use to protect classified data (that would
make Ooma even safer than your old land line)

By gary z

Understanding my phone bill was the only thing more difficult
than figuring out my calling plans! Not anymore with Ooma. I
pick up the phone and dial, then talk as long as I want, with
anyone in the USA, for about $4 a month!

May 21, 2012 - 5.0 out of 5 stars Ooma is a money saver
By Carlos A.

So i heard about Ooma through some forums about saving
money on your time Warner bill. We had the 12 month triple
play bundle, and our year went by fast that the bills went
soaring through the roof. We were paying 200!!!! dollars a
          month.

Luckily i bought one of these bad boys and with some service
deductions from timewarner including Showtime, Turbo internet
and wireless fees, i brought my bill down to 104 dollars. Thats
not too bad coming down in total of 108 dollars for phone,
          internet and cable.

Ooma device works like a baws, and i haven't had a problem
since i bought it on the 15 of April. I would recommend to
anyone who wants to save a crap load of money. Im a verified
buyer so you can count my word.

Conclusion
It is a good investment and business decision when you buy Ooma Telo to replace
your POTS. Not only will you be cutting down on your telephone expense in the
long run, you will also enjoy many benefits that you cannot get from your POTS.

On top of that you will also be using a new technology that will see many new
improvements in the future as compared to the POTS which is already in its sunset
days.
