Leucorrhoea or whites is a condition in which there is an excessive whitish or colourless secretion from the vagina. Most of the time, it is an exaggeration of the normal (physiological) secretion. Sometimes the cause is the irritation anywhere in the genital organs, due to the common infections of the genital tract (pathological).





Most of the time, vaginal discharge is perfectly
normal
It is the body’s natural way of cleansing, lubrication,
and guarding the vagina against infections
It’s color can range from clear to a milky white
Depending on the time in your menstrual cycle
amount , odor and color can vary

If the color, smell, or consistency seems significantly

A thick, white vaginal discharge that looks like
cottage cheese / curd with a bad smell


Any change in the vagina's balance of normal

texture

7. Some tips to prevent vaginal infections
 Keep the vagina clean by washing regularly
with a gentle, mild soap and warm water
 Never use scented soaps and feminine
products or douche; avoid sprays and bubble
baths
 Always wipe from front to back to prevent
bacteria from getting into the vagina and
causing an infection
 Avoid overly tight clothing , wear 100%
cotton undergarments

8. Some tips to prevent vaginal infections
 Change tampons and pads often during your
period
 Use mild soap / detergents for cleaning under
garments
 Avoid irritants like Dettol / Savlon for cleaning
 Talk frankly with your doctor about any odds

13. How to Prepare Decoction for
Douching
How to make decoction:
 Boil 1 tablespoon of pounded drug in about 1 liter of
water for 5 minutes. Allow it to cool , strain and use
it as a vaginal douche

You may add half the quantity of Butter milk to
Triphala decoction
