5. On April 23rd Paramus library celebrated World Book
Night.
World Book Night is an annual
celebration dedicated to spreading
the love of reading. Tens of
thousands of passionate volunteers
go out into their communities to
share their love of reading and give
half a million free World Book
Night paperbacks.
The Paramus Campus community
participated in this event for the first
time. The book that was distributed
was “Playing for Pizza” by John
Grisham. At 1 pm over 30 students
and associates gathered in the
courtyard in a very cold day “to
play for pizza.” Pizza, provided by
SDCL was hot and delicious. All 20
copies of the book were taken.
