One square kilometre. Some 8,000 researchers, developers and entrepreneurs work closely together developing the technologies and products of tomorrow. Campus companies share a common drive to create innovative solutions that make human life healthier, more pleasant, easier, more interesting and which contribute to a sustainable world. High Tech Campus Eindhoven is the Hotspot for Human Focused Innovation.
The companies on the Campus are responsible for nearly 50 percent of all patent applications in the Netherlands - source: EPO Worldwide Patent Statistical Database.
With this, the Campus contributes in a large way to the Brainport region, which is second in Europe with 854 patent per million inhabitants.
A study done by Buck Consultants International commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs shows the Campus is of national significance. In the international competition for R&D-centers and knowledge workers the Campus is a large asset.
