Kortney Nedeau set a SMART goal to lose 10 or more pounds before Christmas break. The goal was specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound. She planned to lose weight through a diet that cut out soda and included more water, lean meats and veggies. She also planned to exercise at the gym 3-4 times a week and take the stairs. As of writing, Kortney had lost 10 pounds and met her initial goal, hoping to lose another 5-10 pounds total.
