MY GOALThe goal I have chosen to try and accomplish is to get back into a weekly routine of going to the gym and lose a few extra pounds by the end of the semester.
REASONS FOR THIS GOALOver the summer I was able to lose a few extra pounds easily just by going to the gym a few times a week and eating right.It is something I knew I would be able to do without being too much of a problem and too time consuming.I wanted to stay healthy while at school and having this SMART goal would allow me to do this.
STEPS TO ACCOMPLISH MY GOALTry and get to the gym at least three times a week for thirty minutes or more each time. Weigh myself at the end of each week to track my progress. Make sure that I was eating properly to go along with the weight I was trying to lose. Gain motivation from friends and family in order to attain my goal.

PROCESS OF ACHIEVING MY GOALI tried to make it to the gym or work out at home doing various things at least three times a week. I managed to eat healthy (salads, proteins, vegetables, fruits) – more of the foods that I should be eating more often. I was able to gain motivation from my roommates to keep up with my SMART goal. Pushing myself to do this. I knew I could complete my goal if I really motivated myself to do it. I had my eye set on the goal, I could do it.
RESULTS OF MY GOALAll in all, I lost about five-ten pounds from the time we started until now. It was great to see the progress that I made, I received all the motivation I needed. I feel accomplished. Completing this goal has made me realize that it is not that hard to stay healthy, getting the exercise I need and exercising when I should.
