Melody Landry transferred to Full Sail University's MCBS program because she was unhappy with her previous communication degree program that focused more on relationships and culture than media and technology. Full Sail appealed to her because of its creative curriculum and option for online studies, which allowed her to stay living where she wanted. Since transferring, she has been much happier with her classes and able to pursue her passions for media and music, feeling like she is on the right track to achieving her goals.

This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.

- 1. Week 2 Project: Storyboard By: Melody Landry
- 2. Before I started the MCBS program I was studying to get my Communications degree at another university, but I was not enjoying it. I was stressed out.
- 3. My classes were based on communication, but their focus was primarily communication in relationships and cultures not so much media and technology.
- 4. Though I thought the information I was learning was interesting, I felt I needed something more to fulfill my creative desires. I initially thought I might want to do something that focused more on music, but then I realized that media communications is a better well-rounded degree.
- 5. Because I felt dissatisfied with the communication classes I was taking at the other school, I decided to transfer to Full Sail.
- 6. Full Sail really appealed to me because of the curriculum and the fact that they offered online studies.
- 7. This was perfect for me because I love where I live and did not want to move.
- 8. Because I made that decision, I am now much happier with the classes I am taking.
- 9. Because of the classes, I am now able to exert my creative talent and passions more.
- 10. Finally I am able to pursue and focus on my passion for media and music
- 11. Ever since I decided to pursue my passion for media, I have had more doors open for me and feel like I am on the right track towards my goals in life.
- 12. I am really excited to journal about my journey while attending this school.
