WEBQUEST CREATION
UNA WEBQUEST ES: 
“una actividad de investigación en la que la 
información con la que interactúan los 
alumnos proviene total o parcialmente de 
recursos de Internet” (Dodge, 1995).
Students are presented with a scenario and a task, usually a 
problem to solve or a project to undertake.
In addition, the students solve the WebQuest 
forming working groups and adopting each of 
them a particular role.
Webquest structure
PRESENTATION 
• It should provide to the students 
with basic information about the 
activities and they should be 
provided information about what 
to expect. 
The purpose is to arouse the 
students' interest!
TASKS 
In this section, one should 
describe clearly and concisely 
what should be the final result 
of the activities. 
The task can be: 
– solve a problem 
– formulate and defend a 
position 
– design a product 
– create a summary ...
Anything that requires 
students to process and 
transform the information 
they have gathered.

ASSESSMENT 
In the evaluation section one 
should describe as specific and 
clearly as possible to students 
how performance will be 
evaluated and if there will be a 
joint note for the group or 
individual scores.
CONCLUSIÓN 
In the conclusion section, we 
can write a series of sentences 
to summarize what the 
students completing the 
webquest have achieved or
