What is a WebQuest?
• A WebQuest is a learning tool utilizing
  technologies associating with the World
  Wide Web to support active and
  cooperating learning methods.
  WebQuest follows a pattern, allowing
  students to explore certain issues, base
  their findings, and come up with their
  own conclusions.
Why use WebQuest?

• Integrating Technology
• Increase student motivation
• Higher-level thinking/discover by
  themselves
• Take roles (team)
• Cooperative learning
When Can a WebQuest
       be Used?

• WebQuest can be used in any subject
  area and any grade level. A single
  WebQuest can be used for a whole-class
  discussion or independent work.
WebQuest Pattern
• Introduction: Identify the problem
• Task: Describes the activity in detail
• Process: What are the strategies used to
  complete the task?
• Resources: A list of required websites
• Evaluation: Conduct the evaluation results
• Conclusion: Sum up the activity & reflect on
  the results
