The Smart Tool is an online platform that enables training centers to manage their training activities and generate reports. It allows trainers to manage the entire training process from registration through certification. Trainees can complete evaluations and will receive automated follow-up surveys after 6 months. The deployment plan is to make the Smart Tool available in English on September 1st, with communications and training webinars provided to help centers set up accounts and learn how to use the system.

Tears Group Kenya Get It Centre Presentation
TEARS is a youth-led non-governmental organization based in Nakuru District, Kenya that aims to empower and develop healthy and independent youth. It partners with organizations like HP and Nashuatec to offer training programs like its GET-IT course, which teaches entrepreneurs technology and business skills. Trainees testify that the course has helped them improve their businesses by allowing them to better organize contacts, design marketing materials, and solve other challenges. So far TEARS has trained over 30 people and seen success in adopting the GET-IT curriculum and establishing its first GET-IT Village. Future plans include expanding the program and collaborating more with other IT institutions.
GET-IT achievements ang global strategy

The GET-IT program aims to provide relevant, immersive, and open education and training to students globally.

of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and

- 2. Agenda What is Smart Tool Training/Certification Process Student Follow-up Implementation Plan
- 3. What is Smart Tool? The Smart Tool is a platform that enables GET-IT and MAP Centers to manage, monitor and report their training activities in an online environment. Only with a few clicks you can generate reports, manage trainings, check the evaluations from previous trainings or print certificates. Also you can have access to the follow up surveys from your students http://smart.mea-i.org
- 4. Training/Certification Process The Smart Tool allows trainers to manage the complete training process from training registration to student certification. Trainers will be able to print branded certificates for their students at the end of the training. The certificates will be globally branded with your institution logo included as well as information about the topics that the student completed . The certificates will be secured with a serial number. The certificate is automatically generated when the student evaluates the training. The trainer will only have to print it and deliver the certificate to the student.
- 5. Create a MAP or GET-IT Training Trainer Create a class Student Manager Notified of enrollment Notified of new class Add students Before the training link After the training Close the training Receive link for evaluation (*) Fill evaluation form(*) Certificate in PDF * In case there is no internet in the training facilities these 2 tasks can be done in paper and afterwards submitted by the trainer Print and deliver certificate Receive the certificate Notified – Training is over Archive the training
- 6. Student Follow-up The follow-up process will be totally automated. The student will receive a post-training survey, 6 months after the completion of the training. This follow-up survey will let us measure the impact of the training and the program in the life of the student/micro-entrepreneur
