kilometric allowance

4. IKV – How does it work?
• Free of charges for employers and free of
taxation on income for employees at a
maximum of 200€/year
• For voluntary companies only : private
sector employees + officials of the Ministry
of sustainable development and Housing
• Can be cumulated with a public transport
reimbursement for commuter who bike to
the nearest station

5. Why introducing IKV?
§ Results of the experimentation conducted
by ADEME in 2014 (18 companies)
à Increase of 50% of the bike commutes
à Number of cyclists x 2
§ Reducing absenteeism, health benefits,
improve well-being…

• Gathering arguments to make IKV
mandatory and to introduce it in the
