forms a layer stretching across the sky.
Cumulus-the word cumulus means
‘a heap’ in Latin. It is thick and puffy, flat bottoms. Shaped
like hills.

17. Fog
Fog is cloud near the ground. When the water vapor
near the ground is cooled and condenses into tiny
water droplets, fog is formed.

Is moisture falling from the air to the
ground.

20. Examples of Precipitation
1. Rain- water falling from the sky when the
temperature is above 0 degrees C.
2. Snow- is formed when the temperature is
below freezing point of water.
3. Hail- falls in the form of lumps of ice. It
happens in summer.
