This document summarizes a webinar about advancing women as leaders in Rotary International. It explores barriers to women's leadership in Rotary and discusses the benefits of diversity. Some key points made include that organizational health and results are stronger when there are 3 or more women in top leadership positions. It also notes that Rotary's current path to leadership is outdated according to many members. The webinar recommends actions like updating policies and procedures, educating members on diversity and inclusion, and elevating the visibility of underrepresented groups to advance women's leadership in Rotary.

4) Have a Website with your name on it -- be the master of your own domain
5) Visit other chapters whenever possible, especially on Visitor's Days
6) Sub at other chapters to line up reciprocal subs for yourself
7) Have more one-on-one dance cards

Women account for more than 20 percent of Rotary’s global membership, but they are underrepresented in leadership positions throughout the organization. (What is an underrepresented group?)
When you registered for the webinar, we were curious about what you are already doing in your clubs and communities to elevate the presence of underrepresented groups.

TODD:
We are starting to change at Rotary
The November 2018 Council on Resolutions passed 2 resolutions requesting the RI Board to promote women and diversity. Resolutions are put forward by districts and voted on by districts. Not that both were adopted by just over 300 votes.
When you go back and loot at the Council on Legislation vote to admit women, the vote was also just over 300 districts voting in favor. In 30 years time, we still need to work with nearly 200 districts that have reservations about this issue.
