Examples highlighted successful small clubs in Districts 7030 and 7020 that completed large-scale water, sanitation, and wheelchair distribution projects through creative fundraising and grant funding. A Rotary club in Trinidad with only 16 members distributed over 3,500 wheelchairs to multiple countries. Another small club in Trinidad operates a homework center serving over 175 children through funding from corporate sponsors. These stories illustrate how small clubs can execute meaningful projects in their communities through innovative planning and efficient use of resources.

Rotary District 5320 Membership Seminar
1) Rotary membership has been declining slightly in recent years, with more clubs but fewer members per club. As of 2009 there were over 33,000 clubs with about 1.2 million members.
2) Younger people make up a smaller portion of Rotary membership, with 70% of members being over age 50. Retention of new members is a challenge, with about 50% of members leaving within 3 years.
3) To attract younger members, some clubs are experimenting with new formats like community-based Rotaract clubs, new generation Rotary clubs, and e-clubs that use different communication methods and offer more flexibility.
