Lou Malnati s
Have you ever had a restaurant that had lots of memories, great food, and nice atmosphere with your
favorite restaurant . I have one and it is Lou malnati s. The first time I went, I was with my grandma
and we were looking for a place to eat, and we found Lou Malnati s and we have been going there
since then. I really like the place because of many reasons. One, is that they have the best deep dish
pizza, I ve had. Secondly, it has great service and atmosphere. Thirdly, is that I ve had great memories
of going with family and friends. That s why I love Lou Malnati s as my favorite restaurant.
What makes a pizza place without great food. Well Lou Malnati s has great deep dish pizza. I really
like the thick cheese and great red sauce. Also, the butter crust on the outside is really crunchy and
creamy tasting. Also, the salad is really good, where they have the fresh vegetables and those crunchy
croutons. After you re done with you main course, you can have the delicious cookie pizza. Its full of
ice cream, chocolate, and whip cream. It s all one tasty mess.
It s not just the food ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I remember that we always went there for a special occasion like winning a soccer game. I think that
Lou s has a lot with my memories an I. There was once was this time when I was little, I got cut very
badly and I had to go to the emergency room. I got around 4 stitches while I was in the hospital. But
after, I got to decide where we go for dinner and I choose Lou s.
Lou Malnati s is my favorite restaurant because it has great food, great atmosphere and service, and
the memories I have with them. In my opinion, Lou s has the best food around such as the deep dish
pizza. Other than the food, they have great servers and the atmosphere is golden. I have had great
memories at Lou s, and I m sure I will be making more with them. If I ever need to have great deep
dish pizza, I ll go to Lou s Malnatis to have a great

Common Mistakes In My Writing
While taking this course I ve wrote several papers on subjects that were not typically topics I would
do a paper on. After the professor proofed my paper I started to notice a trend in my work. So, going
forward I will strive to do my best and fix those common mistakes I easily make. As I continue my
writing as an adult, I will ensure that a clear thesis is presented, the paper has a good proofing, and
finally the MLA style is implied.
My first paper on taking on line classes what was consistent was the paper was not scrubbed that well.
After seeing the mistakes pointed out I wanted to kick myself in the butt because I knew these
mistakes were not acceptable, but I submitted the paper anyways. To my defense, when I read my own

The Isometric View Of The Combustion Bowl Sector
RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS:
At 800 bar injection pressure
The isometric view of the combustion bowl sector is shown in figures 1 2. The two planes shown in
the sector pass through the first site of auto ignition. The vertical plane parallel to z axis does not
necessarily pass through the spray axis but could be located to either side of it depending upon the
location of the first site of auto ignition. The temperature distribution is similar on both the planes but
the different angle in which both are being viewed is the reason for the different hues of same color.
The white dot at the intersection of the two planes represents the first site of auto ignition at which the
temperature and equivalence ratio values also have been stated.
The temperature at SOI indicated the temperature of entire combustion chamber except at extremities
where the variation of ± 20 K is witnessed. As the intake temperature increases, the temperature on the
first site of auto ignition at SOI can be seen increasing but since the fuel would not have arrived at this
site yet, the equivalence ratio is zero. As the spray droplets move further away from the nozzle, the
heat given out by the exothermic chemical reactions leads to the rise in the temperature at the first site
of auto ignition thereby increasing its temperature to a value at which the fuel auto ignites on its
arrival.
The sudden rise in combustion chamber pressure coincides with the location of SOC. The indicator of
SOC was chosen to be

Why Jefferson Davis Won The Civil War
On April 2nd, Jefferson Davis, Southern President , fled his home and the Confederate capitol,
Richmond, Virginia after burning important documents. The fire spread accidentally from the
documents to the town, destroying many blocks of the city (See map on right). Davis had a train
scheduled to leave at 8:30 pm, but it didn t leave until 11:00 pm. He went to Danville, Virginia where
he is expected to be hiding out.
Davis got warned by Robert E. Lee that the Union army was coming to Richmond. The telegram said
I advise that all preparation be made for leaving Richmond tonight . Davis previously sent his family
away to safety, showing he might have assumed this would happen. However, he didn t plan for the
fire of the documents to spread to the town.
With Richmond burning, the Confederate leader in hiding, and the main Southern general failing in
many of the past battles, the South is in pieces, and it is no surprise the Union won this war. Southern
leaders, including Davis will most likely be charged with treason but what will be done with Southern
supporters is unknown at this point. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He was president of the Confederacy for four years out of his six year term. His first major command
as president was to bomb Fort Sumter when he saw Union ships coming to supply the fort. This is
recognized as the start of the war, so the Civil War was started by Jefferson Davis. When General
Robert E. Lee surrendered to General Ulysses S. Grant, Davis disagreed. He wanted the war to go on
long enough for the Union to get tired of it. We would not want to pay for it any longer, not want any
more casualties and eventually surrender. Surprisingly, it was his own star general who

Essay on COLD MOUNTAIN
COLD MOUNTAIN
The story of quot;Cold Mountain quot; is a best selling novel and it is the first
book written by Charles Frazier. It took years of research before he could
write this novel.
The plot of Cold Mountain is really and old idea, in fact it is an ancient one. The plot is the same as
the one in an ancient book by Homer.
The story I am referring to is quot; The Odyssey quot;. The Odyssey is a book
about a wounded soldier trying to find his way back home and his
sweetheart, Penelope that is waiting for his return. Cold Mountain is the
story of a wounded Confederate soldier that was wounded, deserts, and
begins a journey back to his home in the Blue Ridge ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The second part of the plot in this story is about Inman s sweetheart,
Ada. Ada has a much different odyssey than Inman, but just as perilous.
She is learning about herself, friendship, and survival.
In the beginning, Ada is trying to cope with the death of her father. Her
father, a preacher, bought her to the mountains and kept her sheltered from
the ways of the world. While he tried to give her a good life, he never
prepared he for the real world, as you will see later.
Ada was raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She was raised in an
aristocratic society where work was never experienced and money took
care of everything. Ada had no idea how to live from day to day on a farm.
Which is where she was stranded after her father died. During the war, all
the able bodied men were gone to fight and her hired help had moved away
months earlier. To make matters worse, she discovers that her father s
death had left her penniless.
Ada s desperation all changed when she takes Ruby into her home.
Ruby is a young but wise country girl that has had to rely on her own
abilities to get by for most of her life. Ruby is pretty much Ada s savior at
this point. Ruby teaches her all about running a farm, preparing food, and
how to take care of herself without depending on money.
Together, they go from desolate to having a very successful farming
operation. It return for her help, Ada gives

Horus And Zeus Weaknesses
Like other gods, Zeus and Horus both had weaknesses. Zeus s weaknesses mainly includes his
vulnerability to women. Zeus was known to have many mistresses and he let them influence his
decisions. He was with both goddesses and mortal women. With Zeus being with so many women he
became the father of many children both gods and demi gods which all had special powers. Horus
weaknesses many include his anger, you see this toward the end of the story when Horus s mother told
him to spare Set s life so Horus got mad at his mother and tore her apart. We can also conclude that
Horus also has a weakness toward women similar to Zeus. We can see this in the same portion of the
story where he shows his anger. ... as Set ran away. In fury, Horus then tore

Summary Of The Tectonic Theater Project
In Act 1 of the play, it talks about how the Tectonic Theater Project on November 14, 1998, went to
Laramie, Wyoming. The Tectonic Theater Project interview the people that lived in Laramie about the
murdered of Matthew Shepard. When they interview the townspeople, they asked about what
happened the night they last so Matthew. Some people said that Mathew went with the two boys
willingly, but there were people that said that opponent. A bartender said that she saw Matthew before
he felt with the boys. She told the press that the three boys left together in a black truck. As Aaron
Kreifels was riding, his bicycle he found Matthew tied to a fence. Matthew had blood all over him and
he did not have his shoes. In Act 2 of the play, the trial of Aaron James McKinney and Russell Arthur
Henderson was taking place. Both of the boys pleaded not guilty even though police found evidence
of the Matthew being in that black truck that they had. In the truck, there was Matthew s credit card
and his shoe which he did not have when they found him. As Act 2 goes on they play gives regular
updates of how Matthew s condition is. At the end of the Act 2, Matthew died. Act 3 is when Matthew
s funeral was healed. At his funeral, there were protesters saying the god hates fags. In addition, it also
shows the trail of McKinney, he was sentenced to life in prison. At the trail, Matthew s father was said
that Matthew never believed in the death penalty. That every day that McKinney wakes up to thank

The Importance Of Behaviour-Based Safety
According to the Cambridge Centre for Behaviour Studies, (n.d., P1) Behavioural safety is the
application of behavioural research on human performance to the problems of the safety in the
workplace. Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) is an approach based on research of people s behaviour
(what they do and why they do it) and applies scientific theories into practical problems. (HSA0392,
2017) It is also described as a bottom up approach (H. L. Kaila, 2008), because frontline workers help
manager to observe co worker and make suggestions. For a more broader term, BBS is about everyone
s behaviour, not just the frontline (Agnew and Ashworth, 2012) definition
A BBS approach is based on solid principles (HAS, 2017). Harvard psychologist B.F Skinner (1940s)
is pioneer in this area who discovers the principles of behavioural science. These principles are
applied in institutional and education fields in late 1960s. It is not until 1970s that industrial
applications is in Skinnerian behavioural science. Starting in 1984, Monsanto used Behavioural
methods for accident prevention (Thomas, John, and Stanley,1990) (Rafiq M.Choudhry, 2014) and
Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) has proven to be an effective tool for the reduction workplace
accidents and is slightly adjusted due to the change in business climate.(Proactive Safety 2017)History

Stockholm Syndrome Research Paper
A teenager is taken from her home in early morning. She is so scared that she does exactly what the
kidnapper says and follows him out. As the months go by, the victim and her kidnapper develop a very
close bond and they begin to care for each other in a nurturing relationship. This situation probably
sounds insane, but it turns out that this happens often to a victim. The victim becomes relieved after
the kidnapper threatens her and decides to spare her life. The victim begins to feel gratitude because
the kidnapper has given her life and the kidnapper sees it at a real bond forming. Even though the
victim wants to despise the kidnapper for taking her hostage, her longing to survive overpowers her
hatred and Stockholm Syndrome is developed. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The hostages do not fully understand what has happened and why they do not hate the kidnappers.
They begin to wonder what could have caused them to have sympathy or to favor the kidnapper. It is
very had for the former hostage to get a complete answer of exactly why the condition occurs because
it is very complicated and hard to understand. Over the years of studying the psychological condition,
several factors have been discovered. The hostages begin to think of the kidnapper in a more positive
way after they are given a good place to stay or even after the kidnapper gives an act of kindness by
not killing the hostage but simply injuring them. The hostages begin to sympathize for the captor or
develop a relationship once they begin to understand what might have made the kidnapper do this
crime, and after living with each other for a long period of time, they realize how much they have in
common. Stockholm Syndrome normally occurs because the hostages feel that they must pretend to be
on the kidnapper s side or even do acts of kindness for them so that the kidnappers are less likely to
harm them or kill them. After the long period of pretending, they begin to believe that it is the right
thing to do and they fall into practice of it. After they develop this condition, they have symptoms of
the following: resisting attempts of rescue, defending the captor, refusing to testify against captor or
running away from them and they become in need of treatment. Treatment is key to adjusting to the
life the captive had before the hostage event. Obtaining counselling from psychiatrists and guidance
counselors can be very effective to help the former hostage remember how life was before and why
they are having these feelings which can help make the feelings go away. Support from family
members and friends and talking about the situation with them can help the former hostage to remove

Ebola Disease Occurs In Humans And Nonhuman Primates
EBOLA FACT FILE
Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) is a severe and often fatal disease that can occur in humans and nonhuman
primates (such as monkeys and gorillas). The outbreaks of EVD occur predominantly in remote
villages in Central and West Africa, near tropical rainforests and where contact with animals is more
likely to take place. EVD is transmitted into the human population through close contact with the
blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected animals (typically nonhuman primates and
fruit bats). Once a human is infected it spreads in the community through skin to skin contact, direct
contact with the bodily fluids of an infected individual, or contact with environments that are
contaminated with such fluids. The incubation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Diagnosing Ebola in an individual who has been infected for only a few days is difficult, as the early
symptoms such as a skin rash and fevers are nonspecific to the Ebola virus and are seen often in
patients with more commonly occurring diseases. This can cause the virus to develop so much that it
can no longer be treated and the high death toll is a direct result of this. Death of Ebola victims usually
occurs during the second week of Ebola symptoms and is mostly due to extreme blood loss.
Pathogenesis of Ebola
Treatment of Ebola
The standard treatment for Ebola is still limited to supportive therapy as no vaccines are yet available
for clinical use. The supportive therapy consists of balancing the patient s fluids and electrolytes,
maintaining the patient s oxygen status and blood pressure, and treating the patient for any
complicating infections. Treatment from the day the virus is contracted is important but extremely
challenging due to the fact that Ebola is very difficult to diagnose in its early stages of infection.
However, if a person has the early symptoms of Ebola and there is reason to believe that Ebola should
be considered it is extremely important that the patient is isolated

The Amoretti, Italian For Cupids
The Amoretti, Italian for Cupids was written by the famous English Renaissance poet Edmund
Spenser in the 16th century. It is a sonnet cycle that begins with his courtship and ends with his
marriage to Elizabeth Boyle. Sonnet 64 is a blazon form sonnet with an abab bcbc cdcd ee rhyme
scheme. In this sonnet, the speaker explores the body of his lover and appreciates the scents that it
exudes. The first quatrain begins with a kiss. He leans in but doesn t complete the act. Coming to kiss
her lips, (such grace I found) Me seem d, I smelt a garden of sweet flow rs That dainty odours from
them threw around For damsels fit to deck their lovers bow rs (lines 1 4)
When he leaned in to kiss her, he thought he smelled a garden of sweet flowers lingering about. The
lovely scent given off is fit for a young lady to adorn her lover. The speaker goes on to describe
Elizabeth s features in similes, comparing them to flowers. He starts with her lips, noting that they
give off the scent of gillyflowers, also known as carnations. He goes on to portray her ruddy cheeks
comparing them to red roses. The rose, which often symbolizes love and passion, also gives off a
sense of caution with it s thorns. They also represent female virginity, beauty, and respect which are all
qualities that are attached to Elizabeth.
As he moves further along with her features, he continues, Her snowy brows, like budded bellamours;/
Her lovely eyes, like pinks but newly spread; (lines 7 8). By saying

Externalization In Mire
From Kumare we have seen how a religion or a set of beliefs can be created and maintained from
scratch. The person, Kumare, produced a set of ritual practices that included meditation (blue light
meditation) and yoga that he taught to his followers. He made himself into a clear symbol for his little
group. Form the film we learn that he made up or used previously created rituals to synthesis his very
own brand of religion. Using externalization, objectivation, and internalization as a basis into the
Kumare film, we see how his own religion was constructed socially by himself and more importantly
his disciples. Externalization is the continuing of the perception into the world, both in the physical
and mental sense. This is the process

Service Dogs Research Paper
A Snapshot of Canines at Work Dogs dramatically impact the lives of people in numerous aspects. Not
only do they work for humans tirelessly, but they do it with a smile on their face and a wag in their
tail, and they are non judgmental towards people with disabilities. People utilized the help and
companionship dogs provided even hundreds of years ago. However, many people see dogs as futile,
considering training, money, time, and work that is put into owning a dog, let alone having it
specifically trained to do a certain job. It is also risky putting so much time and effort into a dog, being
aware that they are very capable of making mistakes just as humans are. Also, many people do not
know the depth of the work that dogs provide, or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some disabled people feel very disconnected from normal people, but a service dog helps them
overcome that, and also become more independent. Service dogs seem to positively influence
socialization and community participation in a variety of environments. Two studies observed
partnerships in natural environments (Eddy et al., 1988; Mader et al., 1989) and reported that
community members smiled and conversed with children and adults with service dogs more than
children and adults without service dogs, and community members did not avoid the person with a
disability as much when a service dog was present (Winkle, Crowe, and Hendrix 57). Service dogs
allow disabled people to do more things on their own, with the help of the dog, and feel like they do
not have to rely on other people to help them as much. In addition, when a disabled person has a
service dog, they have a companion that is by their side throughout the day, boosting their confidence.
Presnall writes: Jennifer had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of sixteen... I felt kind
of repulsive and unlovable in that wheelchair, [Jennifer] says. But I knew a service dog would look at
me and just think I was cool (8). More evidence of this is proven with the bond between David, a man
who had both of his legs amputated above his knees, and his dog Inca. Inca s arrival has made a huge
difference to David s life, both emotionally and physically (Bidder 48). Thus, service dogs impact

How does Clint Eastwood, director of the film, Invictus,...
How does Clint Eastwood, director of the film, Invictus, use the South African rugby team (the
Springboks) as a vehicle to bring a troubled nation together?
Clint Eastwood shows the change in the nation of South Africa in Invictus, using the Springboks as a
vehicle. He starts the film with large amounts of separation, followed by the steady change in the
middle of the movie, and finishing with the nation combined.
In the beginning of the film, Clint Eastwood shows how separated black and white people are and how
they do not get along, due to the change of the government and the Springboks. Because of the change
in government, Nelson Mandela s staff started to pack their things up as if they were leaving their
jobs, but Nelson Mandela ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At first, the police officers rudely send him away and continue to listen to the game. The African child
still tries to get closer and closer, while pretending to collect soft drink cans. But, towards the end of
the scene, the Springboks score and win the game, and the police become more accepting and
forgiving. They begin to celebrate with the child and raise him up on their shoulders as if he were a
mascot. Ironically, in the beginning of the film, the same child is seen refusing to wear a Springbok
jersey. By using the same child in the beginning of the movie and towards the end, this shows the
audience how the South Africans have changed their view on the Springboks. This acceptance of the
Springboks showed the beginnings of a nation coming together. During the World Cup, the final game
in the film, the scene occasionally cuts to shots of empty streets and empty houses. This technique
shows that everyone is watching the game and that everyone is excited to see the outcome. Another
thing Clint Eastwood did to show the black and white people combined is at the end of the movie. He
used the world cup to symbolise the nation had been brought together. He did this by making Francois
and Chester to both hold the World Cup up above their heads, showing the black and white hand
together.
By the end of the film Invictus, during the final scene, one can see that the crowd watching the rugby
game has changed quite considerably, compared to the game in the start

Californian Sea Lions have roamed the docks of San Francisco, California for over 25 years now.
Though the Sea Lions have only been here for a short period of time, the sleek mammal has become a

globe. Shortly after the Loma Prieta earthquake that hit San Francisco in 1989, Sea Lions began

animals. Since then, the numbers of Sea Lions only grew, and the relationship between them and San

A Brief Note On Vegetation Surrounding A River
Background
Riparian vegetation surrounding a river plays a vital role in the input of energy into the river system in
the form of dead leaves, twigs, and branches (Knight et al., 1984). Every year during the fall,
deciduous trees begin to drop their leaves as they prepare for winter. Leaves dropped from riparian
vegetation typically find their way into the river system, whether it be by wind, direct fall, or strong
rains. This annual event also serves as an important annual influx of energy for the river ecosystem. In
Bear Brook, New Hampshire, 99% of the annual input energy into the freshwater aquatic system is
allochthonous from the forested watershed or upstream areas (Fisher and Likens, 1973). Of this 99%,
44% is provided by leaf and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In lentic habitats, floating leaf matter tends to settle down in the water column and cease drifting
(Cummins et al. 1980). If leaves cease drifting, then they are no longer able to collect in riffles and
form leaf packs downstream.
Downstream from the dam, lentic habitats are converted to lotic and erosion increases as a result of
the faster moving water (McConnell and Lowe McConnell, 1987). Given the fact that, above the dam,
leaves are taken out of the system as a result of settling, there may then be less leaves to collect in the
riffles downstream from the dam. Also, since the water below the dam is faster flowing than what it is
upstream, riffles that may have produced large leaf packs are scoured of leaves by the high water
velocity. Since shredders depend on leaf mats as a source of food, it is likely that they are also affected
by the presence of the dam.
Justification
While many studies have focused on the changes of habitat and populations of aquatic invertebrates
caused by low head dams (eg., Dean et al., 2002; Tiemann et al., 2004; Santucci et al., 2005) there
have been no studies conducted that focus specifically on the effects of low head dams on the
formation of leaf packs or how the presence of these leaf packs affect shredder abundance. Shredders
are important to the river ecosystem, as they are one of the key groups of aquatic insects found within

Nathan Schwartz Salant wrote a book called, The Borderline Personality Vision and Healing, which
suggested spirituality may be the key to resolving borderline personality disorder. In his work, he
stated that some people with BPD might become deeply religious because of their lack of identity and
those who were religious might remember the prospective of healing to the relation of archetypal self.
For example, the Christian holy book, the Bible, in Hosea 2:1 13 states, ...clearly identify sinful
behaviors and describe the associated consequences of such behavior (Roberts 2013). This quote
shows that, in the Christian bible, they have a certain method on how to deal with BPD, which is to be
honest with people about the consequences of their

Assisted Reproduction
Assisted Reproduction
Infertility affects about 13 to 14% of reproductive couples. It is the failure to conceive after a year of
properly timed and unprotected intercourse.
Assisted Reproductive Technology involves several types of medical treatments that are designed to
result in pregnancy. Types of assisted reproductive technology include in vitro fertilization (IVF),
gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT), zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT), egg or embryo donation,
and gestational carriers.
Most assisted reproductive technologies are used to treat infertility. While others are used when there
are no fertility problems. Embryo screening or pre implantation genetic diagnosis is used to prevent
the births of children with specific genetic characteristics.
In vitro fertilization relates to assisted reproduction procedures where sperm and eggs are joined
outside a body of a woman. Women undertaking IVF are given hormonal drugs to promote the
development of multiple eggs, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When partners expecting to become parents discover that one or both of them have fertility problems,
they face a variety of options to bring a child into their lives. They could choose the option of
adopting a child, or they may choose from a variation of medical technologies. They must decide
whether they prefer the uncertainties and complexities of the adoption process or of the medical
response to infertility. All options carry risks for both the mother and fetus, and they may also be
expensive. Many techniques are also not covered by insurance policies.
Medication that includes drugs such as Clomid, Serophene, and Pergonal can also be used to stimulate
ovulation and increase a woman s chances of becoming pregnant, but these drugs can increase the
likelihood that the woman will have multiple births, which is risky for both the woman and the fetus.

The Struggle Of Women In The Epic Of Gilgamesh
The mythological tale, Epic of Giglamesh is a story that was written over 3,000 years ago and has
withstood the test of time to become a true classic. It is a story full of fear, despair and hope.
Gilgamesh is the King of the City of Uruk who drives his people crazy so they ask the gods for help.
Their request is answered when Gilgamesh s and Enkidu have a wrestling match and become best
friends. Together they decide to kill evil demons but the end result is that Enkidu must die as well.
Throughout the story, Gilgamesh is having both an internal and external struggle of trying to come to
terms with the fact that one day he will die and be forgotten. Prompted by the death of his best friend,
he embarks on a journey to achieve eternal life. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During this period, it is believed that men have nothing to do with creation and that sex is just an
activity. Women are represented as serpents and referred to as dragon flies that shed their skin and
bring forth new life similar to the way a woman brings a child into the world. Women are considered
to be divine, immortal and the creators. It is only the female who can leave a piece of themselves
behind on earth through their children. It is only the nymph of the dragonfly who sheds her larva and
sees the sun in his glory. When Gilgamesh seeks advice from Utnapishtim, the God of life, Giglamesh
is told There is a plant that grows under the water, it has a prickle like a thorn, like a rose; it will
wound your hands, but if you succeed in taking it, then your hands will hold that which restores his
lost youth to a man . Gilgamesh does the impossible and recovers the plant. As he surfaces to the top
of the ocean with the plant in hand, it is snatched away from his grasp by a serpent in an ironic twist.
...but deep in the pool there was lying a serpent, and the serpent sensed the sweetness of the flower. It
rose out of the water and snatched it away... Gilgamesh s hope that he would have eternal life was
gone. The Epic of Gilgamesh is the story of a splendid journey that captures Gilgamesh s voyage into
the world of immortals. On this trip, Gilgamesh s never learns the secret of eternal life and comes to
learn that his destiny was his

Developing A Sustainable Marketing And Human Resource...
Description of the Project Proposal
The project requirement as I understand is to develop a sustainable marketing and human resource
structure for a well established Childcare centre that caters for local families with pre school aged
children in the surrounding suburbs and Swinburne University community.
This structure must have a low financial budget and also cater for further expansion in the future. The
client has indicated that they are actively seeking to advertise and raise the view of Kindergarten with
the aim of filling both 3 Year old and 4 year old programs to their capacity. Therefore it is very
important that the planned structure can fulfil the requirements of the clients. It is also mentioned that
the client is very cautious of a structure that all new individuals can follow even if they don t have the
right skills and experience needed to finish the task. This is proposed in the form of the Annual
Marketing Plan, which will be conducted by volunteers who constantly keep changing every year.
Therefore this designed structure must cater for the client with this particular need. Furthermore, the
client has indicated an interest in the professional development of their staff and would like to conduct
programs that would help the staff be motivated in the work they perform. Although this is not yet
confirmed as a definite trial, the designed structure should be able to achieve this possibility.

Factors Associated With A Successful Export Venture Essay
Although Certified Worldwide (CW) has already identified potential markets, there are still several
factors associated with a successful export venture. This memo outlines my thoughts on CW s product
policy, distribution channels, finding new clients, terms of sale and international shipping, payment
methodology, as well as customs and government relations. Product Policy Considerations
International standardization is the best option, since the products sold meet universal needs.
Standardization can reduce costs by streamlining production, which involves fewer part types ,
ordered in larger quantities. Using the same part types for all production runs decreases costs, and
buying in bulk often saves money as well. Standardization also reduces setup time, so more time is
going towards producing the product rather than preparing to produce, which in turn improves the
production rate and the company s ability to meet orders faster. Uniform packaging reinforces product
branding, therefore, travelers can easily identify CW s products. However, slight differences must be
incorporated, for example, creating labels in the native language, and using the correct measurement
system (metric vs imperial). Distribution Channel and Finding Clients A direct marketing plan
utilizing the company s pre established website may be effective in the sale of supplements and
vitamins that consumers can purchase ahead of time, however, it is less efficient in the sale of over the
counter

Social Media In Major League Baseball
Social media has taken the world by storm for the last couple of years and because of that a lot of
major league sport teams have needed to revise or make up a brand new social media policy for their
players to adhere to. Many major league players, no matter the sport, love using social media to
primarily interact with their fans and with social media growing, having stricter policies on the
professional players are needed in order to have control of some of the things that are being said on
social media. In March of 2012, the Major League Baseball (MLB) association constructed a new
social media policy, which consisted of two different policies, one for the major league players and

Essay On Cousin Rivalry
EGO There was a very real cousin rivalry in the house I grew up in, from who could do more push ups
with our grandfather, to who could learn how to ride a bike first/better, to video games, and of course
basketball. Our basketball competitiveness was so intense that my cousins I would take socks, make a
faux basketball proceed to shoot them into a garbage bin at the end of a hallway. Seeing and hearing
this, our grandfather transformed our backyard into half a basketball court, which in turn took our
rivalry from friendly competition to must win by any means necessary. We literally left our blood,
sweat tears on our basketball court, and it was worth it. However, notice my use of the word our,
everything was ours, and I wanted ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There s absolutely nothing wrong with having the utmost confidence in yourself, and if it offends
people? That s their problem! Why is it that people with confidence have to wait for other people to
champion them before they re allowed to celebrate themselves being extraordinary? One of my
missions in life is to empower as many people as possible, instead of telling them to be humble. The
only thing humble people get is a humble life, which is cool if that s how they choose to live, but that
isn t enough for my ego...at all. Nothing about me is humble, including especially my goals. I want to
create a legacy that allows my work to be read, seen, and more importantly felt, for generations to
come. I want to be rich; I m talking the type of rich that allows everybody in my family to do
whatever they please with their time forever. I simply refuse to not live in my truth in order to placate
the delicate sensibilities of people who aren t self assured. As the great Kendrick Lamar once said, I
can t fake humble just cuz your ass is insecure. I m my favorite person on earth, and people seem to
have a problem with how much I love myself. Imagine feeling so insecure that someone loving
himself makes you think they need to bring it down a notch? The irony of people telling me to check
my ego or be humble is that it s the most egotistical thing someone could ever do. Imagine thinking, I
don t think you should love yourself as much as you

Essay about Explaining The Twenties
In 1920, for the first time, the United States census revealed that more Americans lived in cities than
in rural areas. This fact speaks to a dramatic cultural shift that had taken place. The older ethnically
homogenous white Anglo Saxon Protestant (WASP) culture, characterized by their traditional religion
and farm life fell into decline. Overtaking its influence was a new, secular, urban mass culture rooted
among diverse ethnic groups. It was a culture that provided more opportunity for equal participation to
women and minorities than did the older traditional culture. Like all periods of change, however, the
Twenties were accompanied by a reaction against these changes, as the older culture tried to reassert
itself as the dominant ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To some historians, the Sacco and Vanzetti verdict represents one of the darkest moments for
American democracy. Today, it is clear that Sacco and Vanzetti were arrested and convicted because of
who they were Non Protestant, Non Fundamentalists who believed in something different from the
majority of the people.
The battle between modernism and traditionalism is most apparent as a battle between the city and the
country. In geographical terms, this was how the multi cultural modernism and mono cultural
traditionalism were separated. Most non Western European immigrants lived in large cities, and in the
eyes of traditionalists, it was these immigrants who responsible for the problems of sin, alcoholism,
and radicalism. These large cities were the center of liberal Protestantism while the small towns were
the home of the old time religion.
No group symbolized the way in which these different strands of cultural reaction came together as
much as the Ku Klux Klan. The KKK was prevalent in the Southwest and Midwest, where few
African Americans lived. While the Klan was profoundly racist, in the 1920 s, it was better known for
its protests against Catholic and Jewish immigrants and the threat to traditional Protestant morality
which Catholics and Jews represented. Aside from being racist, Anti Catholic, and Anti Semitic, the
Klan also

Critical Appreciation Of Poetry
Poetry comes up very often in our lives whether we realize it or not. Poetry has managed to leave a
significant impact on my life. Since I ve been a kid, I ve always defined poetry as a bunch of words on
a page. The essay, Tide of Voices: Why Poetry Matters Now, and the two poems, How To Eat a Poem
by Eve Merriam and, A Brief For The Defense by Jack Gilbert combined to expand my understanding
of the analysis of poetry; my ability to judge poetry s meaning; and poetry s actual definition. The
essay, Tide of Voices: Why Poetry Matters Now helped to expand my understanding of the poem: A
Brief For The Defense by Jack Gilbert. It also reinforced my belief that analysis is needed to gain full
enjoyment of poetry. The first time around, it may be hazy, but, the second time around, the clouds
will part and the sun will shine through. Similarly, the first time you read something and you don t
understand it, you go back and reread it. The poem, A Brief For The Defense by Jack Gilbert made no
sense whatsoever when I read it the first time. I thought it was supposed to help ameliorate my
definition of poetry but it did no such thing. Sorrow everywhere. Slaughter everywhere... praise the
Devil... After reading such things, I found the poem to be useless in enhancing my definition of poetry.
I was so confused with the mention of blood, slaughter, starvation, poverty, and sickness when I
thought the poem was supposed to have an influence on my understanding of poetry. The

Addition Of Bromine To Alkene
In this experiment, the addition of Bromine to an alkene was done. In doing so the solution undergoes
a halogen addition reaction, which is a simple reaction where a halogen molecule is added to a double
bonded carbon0carbon alkene functional group. In this experiment cholesterol (the alkene used) is
dissolved in 2 mL of methyl tert butyl ether and Bromine (halogen) is added to the solution to create a
reaction. To proceed in the reaction Bromine, reddish brown, solution is added into a solution of the
cholesterol and MTBE solution. After that is done, the solution is mixed by swirling the flask around
until getting a persistent light yellow colored solution, if not retrieved more Bromine should be added.
This solution is then cooled to form crystals, while the solution cools a wash solution was made to
wash the solution of cholesterol bromine when being filtered. This wash is made of 1.4 mL HOAc
(glacial acetic acid), and 2 mL of methyl tert butyl ether. When the solution is cooled it is to be filtered
by vacuuming, when pouring the solution into the funnel, the reaction vial was washed with the wash
solution that was made. This is done to make sure you are recovering all of the crystals in your
solution. When the vacuuming is all set the crystals were left out to dry for a week and the mass and
melting point were retrieved. This type of reaction that happened is a halogenation and an electrophilic
addition reaction, which is a halogen addition reaction. In this case,

Matthew Chapter 5
The Gospels of Matthew and Luke
Matthew chapter five is a sermon by Jesus. It tells us what perspective we ought to have in dealings
with each other and with our attitude. Those who are weak shall be strong, and those who mourn shall
be comforted tell of positive actions or humility being rewarded. Jesus goes through a list of these,
exalting the poor and the weak. Mt. 5:17 20 is between the first section of what actions are righteous
and before the section of what seem to be his own version of commandments relative to the law. It
says that all shall be done and judged through and by him. So he gave a perspective on the humble and
then judged the law. He tells people to be righteous and then tells them the manner in which to ...

He had great authority, and he was supremely obedient. He had power, but was humble and served to
glorify God with that power. He was depicted as one who s every action was oriented towards doing
the will of God. It is a standard that Matthew gives to nobody else.
First of all, Matthew was a Jew who was convinced that the messiah had come. Many of his writings
were Jewish, for that reason. However, he took issue with Jewish leadership and the blinding methods
they used. He used this perspective and wrote anti Jewish versus. Matthew respected and looked
positively upon Jewish Law and much of the Oral Torah. He did not like what was going on in
Yavneh, though. The way the rabbis there were defining these laws was not consistent with how he
saw the law. He saw the Pharisees as hypocrites who did not have his perspective on what was going
on in the world. For this reason, he rejected the emerging authority of the rabbis at Yavneh. He was
also afraid of those who claimed his own heritage but were leading the Jewish people blindly. The
purpose of Matthew s gospel was to, tell the story of how the coming of the Messiah has inaugurated a
new phase in the history of God s people and to explain how they were expected to live in that new
age. (Barr) Luke saw the death of Jesus as another step in an upward progression to glory for Christ. It
was a necessary occurrence in order to fulfill the scriptures. It

After the professor proofed my paper I started to notice a trend in my work. So, going forward I will strive to do my best and fix those common mistakes I easily make. As I continue my writing as an adult, I will ensure that a clear thesis is presented, the paper has a good proofing, and finally the MLA style is implied. My first paper on taking on line classes what was consistent was the paper was not scrubbed that well. After seeing the mistakes pointed out I wanted to kick myself in the butt because I knew these mistakes were not acceptable, but I submitted the paper anyways. • 4. The Isometric View Of The Combustion Bowl Sector RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS: At 800 bar injection pressure The isometric view of the combustion bowl sector is shown in figures 1 2. The two planes shown in the sector pass through the first site of auto ignition. The vertical plane parallel to z axis does not necessarily pass through the spray axis but could be located to either side of it depending upon the location of the first site of auto ignition. The temperature distribution is similar on both the planes but the different angle in which both are being viewed is the reason for the different hues of same color. The white dot at the intersection of the two planes represents the first site of auto ignition at which the temperature and equivalence ratio values also have been stated. The temperature at SOI indicated the temperature of entire combustion chamber except at extremities where the variation of ± 20 K is witnessed. As the intake temperature increases, the temperature on the first site of auto ignition at SOI can be seen increasing but since the fuel would not have arrived at this site yet, the equivalence ratio is zero. As the spray droplets move further away from the nozzle, the heat given out by the exothermic chemical reactions leads to the rise in the temperature at the first site of auto ignition thereby increasing its temperature to a value at which the fuel auto ignites on its arrival. The sudden rise in combustion chamber pressure coincides with the location of SOC. The indicator of SOC was chosen to be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Why Jefferson Davis Won The Civil War On April 2nd, Jefferson Davis, Southern President , fled his home and the Confederate capitol, Richmond, Virginia after burning important documents. The fire spread accidentally from the documents to the town, destroying many blocks of the city (See map on right). Davis had a train scheduled to leave at 8:30 pm, but it didn t leave until 11:00 pm. He went to Danville, Virginia where he is expected to be hiding out. Davis got warned by Robert E. Lee that the Union army was coming to Richmond. The telegram said I advise that all preparation be made for leaving Richmond tonight . Davis previously sent his family away to safety, showing he might have assumed this would happen. However, he didn t plan for the fire of the documents to spread to the town. With Richmond burning, the Confederate leader in hiding, and the main Southern general failing in many of the past battles, the South is in pieces, and it is no surprise the Union won this war. Southern leaders, including Davis will most likely be charged with treason but what will be done with Southern supporters is unknown at this point. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 10. The Importance Of Behaviour-Based Safety According to the Cambridge Centre for Behaviour Studies, (n.d., P1) Behavioural safety is the application of behavioural research on human performance to the problems of the safety in the workplace. Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) is an approach based on research of people s behaviour (what they do and why they do it) and applies scientific theories into practical problems. (HSA0392, 2017) It is also described as a bottom up approach (H. L. Kaila, 2008), because frontline workers help manager to observe co worker and make suggestions. For a more broader term, BBS is about everyone s behaviour, not just the frontline (Agnew and Ashworth, 2012) definition A BBS approach is based on solid principles (HAS, 2017). Harvard psychologist B.F Skinner (1940s) is pioneer in this area who discovers the principles of behavioural science. These principles are applied in institutional and education fields in late 1960s. It is not until 1970s that industrial applications is in Skinnerian behavioural science. Starting in 1984, Monsanto used Behavioural methods for accident prevention (Thomas, John, and Stanley,1990) (Rafiq M.Choudhry, 2014) and Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) has proven to be an effective tool for the reduction workplace accidents and is slightly adjusted due to the change in business climate.(Proactive Safety 2017)History Part 2How BBS reduce injury in workplace? As the months go by, the victim and her kidnapper develop a very close bond and they begin to care for each other in a nurturing relationship. This situation probably sounds insane, but it turns out that this happens often to a victim. The victim becomes relieved after the kidnapper threatens her and decides to spare her life. The victim begins to feel gratitude because the kidnapper has given her life and the kidnapper sees it at a real bond forming. They begin to wonder what could have caused them to have sympathy or to favor the kidnapper. It is very had for the former hostage to get a complete answer of exactly why the condition occurs because it is very complicated and hard to understand. Over the years of studying the psychological condition, several factors have been discovered. The hostages begin to think of the kidnapper in a more positive way after they are given a good place to stay or even after the kidnapper gives an act of kindness by not killing the hostage but simply injuring them. The hostages begin to sympathize for the captor or develop a relationship once they begin to understand what might have made the kidnapper do this crime, and after living with each other for a long period of time, they realize how much they have in common. Stockholm Syndrome normally occurs because the hostages feel that they must pretend to be on the kidnapper s side or even do acts of kindness for them so that the kidnappers are less likely to harm them or kill them. After the long period of pretending, they begin to believe that it is the right thing to do and they fall into practice of it. After they develop this condition, they have symptoms of the following: resisting attempts of rescue, defending the captor, refusing to testify against captor or running away from them and they become in need of treatment. Treatment is key to adjusting to the life the captive had before the hostage event. Obtaining counselling from psychiatrists and guidance counselors can be very effective to help the former hostage remember how life was before and why they are having these feelings which can help make the feelings go away. • 12. Ebola Disease Occurs In Humans And Nonhuman Primates EBOLA FACT FILE Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) is a severe and often fatal disease that can occur in humans and nonhuman primates (such as monkeys and gorillas). The outbreaks of EVD occur predominantly in remote villages in Central and West Africa, near tropical rainforests and where contact with animals is more likely to take place. EVD is transmitted into the human population through close contact with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected animals (typically nonhuman primates and fruit bats). Once a human is infected it spreads in the community through skin to skin contact, direct contact with the bodily fluids of an infected individual, or contact with environments that are contaminated with such fluids. The incubation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Diagnosing Ebola in an individual who has been infected for only a few days is difficult, as the early symptoms such as a skin rash and fevers are nonspecific to the Ebola virus and are seen often in patients with more commonly occurring diseases. This can cause the virus to develop so much that it can no longer be treated and the high death toll is a direct result of this. Death of Ebola victims usually occurs during the second week of Ebola symptoms and is mostly due to extreme blood loss. Pathogenesis of Ebola Treatment of Ebola The standard treatment for Ebola is still limited to supportive therapy as no vaccines are yet available for clinical use. The supportive therapy consists of balancing the patient s fluids and electrolytes, maintaining the patient s oxygen status and blood pressure, and treating the patient for any complicating infections. Treatment from the day the virus is contracted is important but extremely challenging due to the fact that Ebola is very difficult to diagnose in its early stages of infection. However, if a person has the early symptoms of Ebola and there is reason to believe that Ebola should be considered it is extremely important that the patient is isolated ... • 13. The Amoretti, Italian For Cupids The Amoretti, Italian for Cupids was written by the famous English Renaissance poet Edmund Spenser in the 16th century. It is a sonnet cycle that begins with his courtship and ends with his marriage to Elizabeth Boyle. Sonnet 64 is a blazon form sonnet with an abab bcbc cdcd ee rhyme scheme. In this sonnet, the speaker explores the body of his lover and appreciates the scents that it exudes. The first quatrain begins with a kiss. He leans in but doesn t complete the act. Coming to kiss her lips, (such grace I found) Me seem d, I smelt a garden of sweet flow rs That dainty odours from them threw around For damsels fit to deck their lovers bow rs (lines 1 4) When he leaned in to kiss her, he thought he smelled a garden of sweet flowers lingering about. The lovely scent given off is fit for a young lady to adorn her lover. The speaker goes on to describe Elizabeth s features in similes, comparing them to flowers. He starts with her lips, noting that they give off the scent of gillyflowers, also known as carnations. He goes on to portray her ruddy cheeks comparing them to red roses. The rose, which often symbolizes love and passion, also gives off a sense of caution with it s thorns. They also represent female virginity, beauty, and respect which are all qualities that are attached to Elizabeth. As he moves further along with her features, he continues, Her snowy brows, like budded bellamours;/ Her lovely eyes, like pinks but newly spread; (lines 7 8). By saying ... • 16. Service Dogs Research Paper A Snapshot of Canines at Work Dogs dramatically impact the lives of people in numerous aspects. Not only do they work for humans tirelessly, but they do it with a smile on their face and a wag in their tail, and they are non judgmental towards people with disabilities. People utilized the help and companionship dogs provided even hundreds of years ago. However, many people see dogs as futile, considering training, money, time, and work that is put into owning a dog, let alone having it specifically trained to do a certain job. It is also risky putting so much time and effort into a dog, being aware that they are very capable of making mistakes just as humans are. Some disabled people feel very disconnected from normal people, but a service dog helps them overcome that, and also become more independent. Service dogs seem to positively influence socialization and community participation in a variety of environments. Two studies observed partnerships in natural environments (Eddy et al., 1988; Mader et al., 1989) and reported that community members smiled and conversed with children and adults with service dogs more than children and adults without service dogs, and community members did not avoid the person with a disability as much when a service dog was present (Winkle, Crowe, and Hendrix 57). Service dogs allow disabled people to do more things on their own, with the help of the dog, and feel like they do not have to rely on other people to help them as much. In addition, when a disabled person has a service dog, they have a companion that is by their side throughout the day, boosting their confidence. Presnall writes: Jennifer had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of sixteen... I felt kind of repulsive and unlovable in that wheelchair, [Jennifer] says. But I knew a service dog would look at me and just think I was cool (8). More evidence of this is proven with the bond between David, a man who had both of his legs amputated above his knees, and his dog Inca. • 17. How does Clint Eastwood, director of the film, Invictus,... How does Clint Eastwood, director of the film, Invictus, use the South African rugby team (the Springboks) as a vehicle to bring a troubled nation together? Clint Eastwood shows the change in the nation of South Africa in Invictus, using the Springboks as a vehicle. He starts the film with large amounts of separation, followed by the steady change in the middle of the movie, and finishing with the nation combined. In the beginning of the film, Clint Eastwood shows how separated black and white people are and how they do not get along, due to the change of the government and the Springboks. Because of the change in government, Nelson Mandela s staff started to pack their things up as if they were leaving their jobs, but Nelson Mandela ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... At first, the police officers rudely send him away and continue to listen to the game. The African child still tries to get closer and closer, while pretending to collect soft drink cans. But, towards the end of the scene, the Springboks score and win the game, and the police become more accepting and forgiving. They begin to celebrate with the child and raise him up on their shoulders as if he were a mascot. Ironically, in the beginning of the film, the same child is seen refusing to wear a Springbok jersey. By using the same child in the beginning of the movie and towards the end, this shows the audience how the South Africans have changed their view on the Springboks. This acceptance of the Springboks showed the beginnings of a nation coming together. During the World Cup, the final game in the film, the scene occasionally cuts to shots of empty streets and empty houses. This technique shows that everyone is watching the game and that everyone is excited to see the outcome. Another thing Clint Eastwood did to show the black and white people combined is at the end of the movie. He used the world cup to symbolise the nation had been brought together. He did this by making Francois and Chester to both hold the World Cup up above their heads, showing the black and white hand together. By the end of the film Invictus, during the final scene, one can see that the crowd watching the rugby game has changed quite considerably, compared to the game in the start ... • 20. A Brief Note On Vegetation Surrounding A River Background Riparian vegetation surrounding a river plays a vital role in the input of energy into the river system in the form of dead leaves, twigs, and branches (Knight et al., 1984). Every year during the fall, deciduous trees begin to drop their leaves as they prepare for winter. Leaves dropped from riparian vegetation typically find their way into the river system, whether it be by wind, direct fall, or strong rains. This annual event also serves as an important annual influx of energy for the river ecosystem. In Bear Brook, New Hampshire, 99% of the annual input energy into the freshwater aquatic system is allochthonous from the forested watershed or upstream areas (Fisher and Likens, 1973). Given the fact that, above the dam, leaves are taken out of the system as a result of settling, there may then be less leaves to collect in the riffles downstream from the dam. Also, since the water below the dam is faster flowing than what it is upstream, riffles that may have produced large leaf packs are scoured of leaves by the high water velocity. Since shredders depend on leaf mats as a source of food, it is likely that they are also affected by the presence of the dam. Justification While many studies have focused on the changes of habitat and populations of aquatic invertebrates caused by low head dams (eg., Dean et al., 2002; Tiemann et al., 2004; Santucci et al., 2005) there have been no studies conducted that focus specifically on the effects of low head dams on the formation of leaf packs or how the presence of these leaf packs affect shredder abundance. Shredders are important to the river ecosystem, as they are one of the key groups of aquatic insects found within the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 21. Nathan Schwartz-Salant s The Borderline Personality-Vision... Nathan Schwartz Salant wrote a book called, The Borderline Personality Vision and Healing, which suggested spirituality may be the key to resolving borderline personality disorder. In his work, he stated that some people with BPD might become deeply religious because of their lack of identity and those who were religious might remember the prospective of healing to the relation of archetypal self. For example, the Christian holy book, the Bible, in Hosea 2:1 13 states, ...clearly identify sinful behaviors and describe the associated consequences of such behavior (Roberts 2013). This quote shows that, in the Christian bible, they have a certain method on how to deal with BPD, which is to be honest with people about the consequences of their ... Description of the Project Proposal The project requirement as I understand is to develop a sustainable marketing and human resource structure for a well established Childcare centre that caters for local families with pre school aged children in the surrounding suburbs and Swinburne University community. This structure must have a low financial budget and also cater for further expansion in the future. The client has indicated that they are actively seeking to advertise and raise the view of Kindergarten with the aim of filling both 3 Year old and 4 year old programs to their capacity. Therefore it is very important that the planned structure can fulfil the requirements of the clients. It is also mentioned that the client is very cautious of a structure that all new individuals can follow even if they don t have the right skills and experience needed to finish the task. This is proposed in the form of the Annual Marketing Plan, which will be conducted by volunteers who constantly keep changing every year. Therefore this designed structure must cater for the client with this particular need. Furthermore, the client has indicated an interest in the professional development of their staff and would like to conduct programs that would help the staff be motivated in the work they perform. Although this is not yet confirmed as a definite trial, the designed structure should be able to achieve this possibility. Marketing Team and Human Resource Proposals This project proposal ... • 26. Factors Associated With A Successful Export Venture Essay Although Certified Worldwide (CW) has already identified potential markets, there are still several factors associated with a successful export venture. This memo outlines my thoughts on CW s product policy, distribution channels, finding new clients, terms of sale and international shipping, payment methodology, as well as customs and government relations. Product Policy Considerations International standardization is the best option, since the products sold meet universal needs. Standardization can reduce costs by streamlining production, which involves fewer part types , ordered in larger quantities. Using the same part types for all production runs decreases costs, and buying in bulk often saves money as well. Standardization also reduces setup time, so more time is going towards producing the product rather than preparing to produce, which in turn improves the production rate and the company s ability to meet orders faster. Uniform packaging reinforces product branding, therefore, travelers can easily identify CW s products. However, slight differences must be incorporated, for example, creating labels in the native language, and using the correct measurement system (metric vs imperial). Distribution Channel and Finding Clients A direct marketing plan utilizing the company s pre established website may be effective in the sale of supplements and vitamins that consumers can purchase ahead of time, however, it is less efficient in the sale of over the counter ... Overtaking its influence was a new, secular, urban mass culture rooted among diverse ethnic groups. It was a culture that provided more opportunity for equal participation to women and minorities than did the older traditional culture. Today, it is clear that Sacco and Vanzetti were arrested and convicted because of who they were Non Protestant, Non Fundamentalists who believed in something different from the majority of the people. The battle between modernism and traditionalism is most apparent as a battle between the city and the country. In geographical terms, this was how the multi cultural modernism and mono cultural traditionalism were separated. Most non Western European immigrants lived in large cities, and in the eyes of traditionalists, it was these immigrants who responsible for the problems of sin, alcoholism, and radicalism. These large cities were the center of liberal Protestantism while the small towns were the home of the old time religion.
