most important topic for more clearance of water quality standards which covers latest Indian and WHO guidelines and provides a real scenario of water standards in India and the recent advances made for purification of water in India and worldwide. The presentation is little bit lengthy but deals with all required aspects in short.
Due to the ever-increasing population, surface water is not enough to meet all the demands and the dependence automatically goes to ground water that drastically leading to a constant depletion of ground water level causing the wells and tube wells to dry up. To enhance the availability of groundwater at specific places and times and utilize rainwater for sustainable development.
The harvesting of rainwater simply involves the collection of water from surfaces on which rain falls, and subsequently storing this water for later use. Normally water is collected from the roofs of buildings and stored in rainwater tanks.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. 22. What is hard water?
Hard water contains dissolved calcium and magnesium
compounds such as :
magnesium bicarbonate [Mg(HCO3)2]
calcium bicarbonate [Ca(HCO3)2]
magnesium sulphate [MgSO4]
calcium sulphate [CaSO4]
Hard water can be Temporary or Permanent.
Temporary hard water contains magnesium bicarbonate and
calcium bicarbonate.
Permanent hard water contains Magnesium sulphate and
calcium sulphate.
22
24. Softening temporary hard water
Temporary hard water contains calcium bicarbonate.
Temporary hardness can be removed by boiling the water.
Lime-scale would be left behind.
This is relatively easy to remove, because it decomposes on
heating to form solid calcium carbonate:

25. Softening hard water
Both temporary and permanent hard water can be softened by
adding sodium carbonate (washing soda).
The sodium carbonate reacts with the calcium compounds in
the water to form calcium carbonate and soluble sodium
compounds, which do not contribute to hardness:

35. Rainwater Harvesting policies
Bangalore
In order to conserve water and ensure ground water
recharge, the Karnataka government in February 2009
announced that buildings, constructed in the city will have to
compulsorily adopt rain water harvesting facility. Residential
sites, which exceed an area of 2400 sq ft (40 x 60 ft), shall
create rain harvesting facility according to the new law.
Chennai
Rainwater harvesting has been made mandatory in three
storied buildings (irrespective of the size of the rooftop area).
All new water and sewer connections are provided only after
the installation of rainwater harvesting systems.
Similar initiatives are also taken in other states.
