2. AIM
To help restore ground water supply. Reduce pollution of coastal water
OBJECTIVE:
To promote storm water infiltration and improve the quality of storm water
runoff.
It also increases level of groundwater.
It is typically designed to capture rainfall on the pavement surface area.
To get maximum compressive strength for low volume traffic road.
3. Problems can be solved by using pervious concrete
In urban areas large amount of rainwater becomes waste by falling on
walkways, parking area, streets, sidewalks, etc.
This creates major problems of floods in the area, creates potholes on
road, groundwater depletion ,creates imbalance in ecosystem, erosion,
pollutionof river
4. The best solution of this problem is avoided using impervious pavement which
blocks the infiltration of water through pavement.
•So we should switch on to pervio concrete

15. CONCLUSION
1.It is clearly seen from the experimental result that previous concrete have very
low compressive strength,so it cannot be used for structural application but it
can be significantly used for sidewalks, parking lots sports surfaces, driveways, etc.
2.Previous concrete is considered as ecofriendly system
3.From the experimental results of investigation, the following conclusion can be
made.Porous concrete allows water passes through it.It is not composed of fine
aggregates.Aggregate having size more than 20mm cannot be used, because of
larger voids cause settle down of cement slurry and aggregate having size less
than 10mm.
3.Regardless of the high advantage of these systems to reduce the flooding
impact this permeable pavement is known for its lower strength.Due to this fact
it is rare and impossible for this permeable pavement to be utilized at the main
road and highway.
