Marcel Breuer was an architect and furniture designer who developed his personal architecture style in the carpentry shop at the Bauhaus. He created the iconic Wassily Chair in the 1920s after being inspired by the simple yet durable design of bicycles. The Wassily Chair has a tubular steel frame that is bent without welding, allowing it to be chromed in parts and assembled. It uses leather straps and is suitable for use in bedrooms, living rooms, study rooms, offices, and more. Another of Breuer's designs was the Laccio Coffee Table, which has a plastic laminated top supported by a tubular steel frame.
